“We needed hardworking reliable people at short notice to help us get our warehouse sorted. This was our first time using Grafter and it worked perfectly. Very easy to use. A good number of responses to the ad we posted. Easy to communicate with the Grafters before they started. The two Grafters were brilliant. Have already recommended it to other colleagues to solve short-term staffing challenges.”

Thanks for the feedback. It's worth knowing that platforms like Airtasker and TaskRabbit typically charge workers a commission of 15–20% on every job — which means workers price their day rates higher to compensate. With Grafter, there's no commission taken from workers at all, so the rate you agree is the rate they receive. You pay a small one-off credit fee to make the connection, and that's it — no matter how long the job runs. “Michael was excellent with the work in explained to him in the garden. Kept to himself, had positive attitude & was very polite. He completed my small front garden work and made it look so much neater, provided me 2 beds to plant the many perennials I have. We sure recommend him with a 5*s. Thank you Michael for all your hard work on 2 hot days.”

“The site has potential but neds a lot more work. Labourers are not vetted and 2 out of 4 had the wrong mobile numbers meaning grafter had not validated it. It is important people have a face photo, so one knows it is a genuine person”

HI Evan, thanks for the feedback. Grafter is a website not an agency, so we don't provide a vetting service, but we also don't change the 20% mark-up fees that they do! I understand 2 people you contacted had the wrong phone number, they probably just forgot to update it, but you can still use chat to contact them so that should not be too much of an issue. Some people don't want to publish their face for concerns about discrimination, so we have to leave this as optional. I hope that helps explain. Thanks for using grafter!
