After receiving one of these belts as a gift, I ordered two other belts. The length of these belts are not the length of my original belt. This was a disappointment to me. I will never order from or recommend this company.

Bartholomew, I'm sorry that you had this experience. We add about 8 inches of length to each belt strap. If you purchase a size 50 belt, you are going to get a belt strap that is 58 inches long (this is to account for weight fluctuation and adjustability). I looked up your account and can only find one order for one belt. Perhaps the original belt was not a size 50 and that is why the two belts are different lengths? If the belt is too big, you can cut it to size and singe the end with a lighter to seal the nylon. If it is too small, just reach out to customer service and they'll take care of you. Just so you know- we do custom sizing. When checking out your purchase, there is a spot for "Notes". We have many repeat customers who figure out exactly how long of a belt they need and they include the length they need in the purchase notes. Feel free to email me if you need anything further at bryce@grip6.com. - Bryce

Underwhelmed is the word that comes to mind. The retaining part if the belt is made of plastic and the buckle doesn't feel anything special.

I would not recommend this product for someone that wants a belt to be functional. If you are looking for a fashion belt, then yes, this belt system would work fine. If you are losing weight, then most definitely do not buy this belt. I am on my 4th belt since my purchase 2 years ago. This is in addition to the original one. The belt gets a sort of memory in it, and it becomes difficult to get past that point. You cannot turn the belt around. Therefore you have to deal with the belt being loose.

The men’s belt is too wide for standard belt loops. My husband can’t fit them in his jeans or work pants. I’m very disappointed.

It's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist that makes putting on a belt (of all things!) more difficult that it used to be. It's a waste of money.

Saw the belts and ordered one love the design and styles and would normally order more for myself and as presents but delivery was so slow ! I know I live in Bermuda but Really? I’d have to order presents months in advance

I really wanted to like this new concept in securing my pants, however after about a week of struggling to get it right, I have all but given up. I find it so much more difficult, hence time consuming to adjust and secure than a regular belt. Perhaps it's just me, YMMV.

Maybe it's just me, but I really struggle to get the belt tight enough...the mechanics don't work for me like they do in the instructions. Same with taking it off. I basically have to slide my pants down to my ankle and then undue the belt. The product itself seems well made and no issues there. I just can't seem to get it to work like I had hoped.

Ryan, I'm so sorry you are experiencing this issue! Your belt shouldn't be coming loose throughout the day, that's the whole point of our patented friction-lock design. Usually when someone says their belt is coming loose, it's simply not being put on correctly. Have you checked how to put on/tighten your belt on our How It Works page? https://grip6.com/pages/how-it-works Hope this solves your issue! Feel free to reach out to me at bryce@grip6.com if you are still having issues so we can make sure you are taken care of. - Bryce

The reason for the two star review is because I can’t get the belt tight. I like the material and construction of the belt. I have watched the videos online about getting it tight. I just can’t seem to ever get it tightened enough.

Brian, Have you tried our narrow straps? They are a quarter inch narrower. I would be happy to send you a narrow strap for free to try out. Email me at bryce@grip6.com. Best Regards, Bryce

The belt is a web design appears heavy duty. Good quality. The buckle is amazing I really liked it. My reason for the 2 stars is the belt goes in behind the buckle. Hard to explain. I could never get it tight enough then you have to try and secure the extra material behind the loops on your pants. Too much effort.

Disappointing. I am a size 18 so the problems with the belt are probably not experienced by smaller folks. Not good for jeans or heavy pants, I wear this belt with Duluth/Columbia style light hiking pants. I have watched the video, read the instructions but still can't master this belt. I can't get it tight enough and find myself hiking my pants up all day even with empty pockets. Additionally- for whatever reason, I have ripped my short nails down to the quick trying to get the belt as tight as possible. My husband has reported difficulty tightening and it seems to loosen through out the day.

Doesn't fit snugly unless you put it on over tight. The melted part of the belt that keeps it from going through the buckle is much too thick and makes the belt look like it is floating off your body. Bottom line, it is not what I expected.

Well, I would love to make a review of the product, but it’s been almost a month since I ordered it and it hasn’t arrived, thanks for the premium shipping, I never mind paying extra for shipping as long as I get my products
