“Were reliable, friendly and reasonable. Used them for years. Now they don't honour bookings, confuse phone messages and blame "a new controller". No show x2 getting to and from airports ...& told no booking was pending when their messaging system quite clearly stated the contrary. Got weird messaging from "Alpha cabs" instead (whoever they are). No apologies. App unreliable/useless on Android. No longer customer interested or focused. Use alternatives if you're wise.”
“Booked Harpenden Taxis to collect 3 people from Luton Airport 02:35am 18/05/22. Initial phone call confirmed flight details and drop off locations yet taxi not waiting for us upon arrival, phoned, waited half-hour! Driver then proceeded to drive dangerously along the Lower Luton Road towards Wheathampstead reaching 61 mph in 30-40 mph zones! At Foley Fields he overtook 2 cars in front, doing the 40 mph speed limit, around a bend! Would not recommend this firm or use again! 0 star rating.”
“I booked a taxi and got a fixed price for the journey. Taxi arrived late and then during journey was told he would not honour the fixed price I was given. I only had the cash on me for the quote amount. He then threw me out of his taxi when his meter reached the fixed price. It was torrential rain and I then had to walk for 20 mins in the pouring rain to my destination. I had to conduct interviews and arrived drenched. The taxi driver was agressive
in nature. I am a 54 year old woman.”
