“You should absolutely avoid this group of Land Rover dealerships as we had shocking experiences from both Basingstoke and Crawley!
Basingstoke: We had a really bad salesman experience who was hopeless and didn’t keep us informed on 2 new cars. One of the vehicles arrived damaged and he suggested I collect and then arrange for the repairs to be carried out once parts (a bonnet) arrive!! Seriously, it’s a £170k car FGS! I had to buy another daily as I was now without a car and the deal put forward was an absolute insult where my replacement vehicle was quoted to part exchange at £42k less than I paid for it, not more than a month old and less than 500 miles!! Seriously!?
Crawley: Then we purchased a Defender 110 for my wife as her new Range Rover Sport was delayed yet again since she ordered it in May 2022 with no confirmed delivery date. We collected the Defender and the list of snags were not completed well enough that this should never have made it through the pre delivery check and now we are having endless issues with Crawley to get the problems fixed. We also had to pay a £40 fuel charge, which wasn’t provided upon collection and to add insult to injury, we are struggling to get them to refund deposits which has now been over 3 weeks and still nothing!!!!
In an age where customer service and experience is paramount to the future of car dealerships, this lot are going out of their way to do as much damage to themselves and physically possible.
We will NEVER use them again and we urge you to consider your buying options.”
