“Why do you advise in web site that your hemp seeds are Australian grown,when it’s written on seed package less then 10% Australian ingredients.Also Australian hemp seed on front of advertised product in web site,organic hemp seed on products delivered to customers.100% Australian grown on description in web site…not real truthful,as I purchased with the belief that they are Australian grown seeds.what’s the truth?”

“About the Hemp gold mulled oil. Compare to the not mulled it does test lighter, although not sure how it affects the original goodness of ingredients that may have been lost since the mulling. It stated that the oil is pressed from the seeds in your premises in Byron bay Australia. Quote: " Australian Certified Organic virgin cold-pressed hemp seed oil is made fresh on our premises" But actually the premises are not in Australia is it? Quote: "We would love to be able to process it here in Australia, but unfortunately don’t have the right machinery yet." I am confused. Because if it is not pressed in Australia, then it cannot be 100% sure what is in it. Question? Was it pressed in Australia or not. Thank you,”

Hemp Gold Seed Oil is cold pressed from hulled seeds which means it is not bitter like traditional hemp seed oil pressed from the hulled seed. It is still packed with nutrient and certified organic. I can see you've spotted a typo on our website, we're just in the process of updating some pages.

We re-use packaging wherever possible to ship our products and protect them using old newspaper and recyclable bubble wrap. You can recycle all our packing materials. Our Sativa packaging is also carbon neutral to produce. Thanks for your feedback, it’s so important as we strive for the solution with the least environmental impact.

“The products are awesome. I would have given 5 stars but the peanut butter with hemp I was sent goes out of date in just 2 1/2 months. So that was very disappointing.”

“not as good as before, why fix something that isn't broken the hemp seed original oil before this new line off hemp seed gold came out was a way better product, seeing less results than before.”

“I purchased chocolate flavoured Hemp protein from hemp foods Australia. Product was really nice, thoroughly enjoyed the taste and drinking it. There was one downfall though, I thought for sure that this would have been Australian grown hemp, I just assumed that it would be sourced from Australia, though upon receiving I noticed that it only had about 3% Australian ingredients. Correct me if I am wrong here. Would feel better and I think it would be a massive plus if you were to source Australian grown hemp? I think people would feel better buying it? I did enjoy the fact that I was able to get free shipping by spending a certain amount, I think $60 , and the added bonus of receiving a free gift, which happened to be 250 ml of Chilli infused hemp seed oil. Loved that.”

Hi Jimi, Thanks for your review. At Hemp Foods we pride ourselves on sourcing the best quality certified organic (ACO) hemp seeds. We do sell conventionally grown Australian hemp seeds, but there’s just no supply of ACO hemp in Australia right now. Hopefully our organic farmers catch on to the wonders of hemp soon and we can supply local organic product! The Hemp Foods team.
