“I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Northampton - South on the 20th July 2020 for one night. Just 5 days after I stayed I was issued a Parking Charge of £100 from ParkingEye. Due to the Covid 19 precautions the hotel no longer allow guests to enter their registration number. Instead they ask for your number and then, presumably, enter it themselves. Except in my case they either didn't or entered the wrong number. Resulting in a fine.
One might expect them to provide a swift apology followed by a confirmation that the charge had been rescinded. Well no, over a week later they have done nothing. They have ignored my email, my Facebook message (PM) to the hotel and requests from Holiday Inn customer services department to make contact with me via email. All in all, this particular hotel is a law unto itself and treat their guests with complete contempt.
I would never stay here again and if there is an alternative to a Holiday Inn anywhere else I stay I will go there rather than spend my money with this shower again.”
