            Today I ordered food - as the delivery time was showing as 45 minutes and I was in a hurry, I paid the 'priority delivery charge', and guess what - the food was delivered after three quarters of an hour!! I asked customer services for a refund of the priority charge, and of course they won't - because according to them the food was delivered on time!! Well done Deliveroo, you lost one more customer.

            Don’t use this delivery service. If they don’t deliver your food, they won’t give you a refund and you’ll pay for nothing. Height of cynical capitalism. ‘Sorry we have reviewed your complaint and cannot offer any compensation’. No explanation, despite the photos that I sent in. I’m not even asking for compensation I’m just asking not to pay for something I didn’t receive! Delete deleted their app.

            My order was picked up and then the driver picked up another order and delivered that firstly by the time I received my order it was cold complained and got told they’re applying for partial refund when all the food was binned and went elsewhere for delivery will never use Deliveroo again totally spoiled a birthday treat

They’re more than happy to take money but won’t cover cost of spoiled food down to either their drivers’ incompetence or an issue with how they prioritise and distribute orders.
