“The courses can be a great beginning to studying. However be aware that although the courses are accredited they are unlikely to be accepted by UK educational establishments. So they get five stars from me for a wide range of courses which can be studied in your own time for sheer enjoyment of learning a new subject. However if you want to take studies further then you’d be better off approaching your local FE
college and having a chat with them.
My course is entirely for my own interest and I won’t be taking it further so this company are ideal.”

“I have done several centre of excellence courses. I have been delighted with them. Being a qualified adult teacher and also having written courses I would say they are excellently structured and well written. However several of the courses could do with more training videos. Although they do give you links to you tube so you can learn more.
Some say certain courses on there are not comprehensive enough on there. A level three course is not supposed to give you all of the information anyway. It encourages you to add to your knowledge through further resources. I am delighted with my courses. Thank you centre of excellence.”

“Good for people wanting to learn something random who don't need a "proper" qualification. Are the certificates actually worth anything? No. Does that mean the courses are pointless? It depends what you are looking for. The courses vary in quality. Some contain mistakes and frankly I wish I hadn't bothered and some have extremely dubious topics (but those are obvious upfront). There are however definitely some that contain really good material and are worthwhile if you want something relatively simple and easy to dip in and out of. There's no way I'd pay full price for the courses, but with the deals and discounts they aren't too bad. Do not expect a qualifcation at the end that anyone will take seriously though!”
