“The staff at this practice are wonderful. Each one totally professional, caring and very friendly from the minute you walk in. Its a pleasure to visit the dentist here. Dr James Hislop is an amazing dentist. He is a very honest and genuine man who i feel, puts the needs of his patients first. I have had missing teeth for the last 10 years and James has replaced these with implants. I had the final appointment today and i cant believe how good they look. They even feel like they’ve always been there so i dont even need to spend any time getting used to them, This whole process was pain free for me and it all went at my pace. This practice as a whole, has given me my confidence back again and now im ‘big’ smiling like i used to do. I am so pleased i came here.”

“I had been wanting to straighten my teeth for a while and finally after many years I decided to go for it. I visited my local dentist but to my disappointment I was rejected after being told there was too much ‘crowding’ in my teeth and therefore not possible to straighten. A meal out with some friends and one of them recommended i speak to an invisalign specialist at hyslop dental practice as he had a succeful treatment with him and get his advice, so i made an appointment and had a consultation; to my surprise he confidently told me this was entirely possible and he has worked on much more difficult teeth with good outcomes. We worked together and made a plan; he showed my exactly how my teeth would move on a week to week basis and told me exactly what i needed to do. Within the space of 9 months i am now here with a massive turn around in my teeth, they are looking amazing. I am happy with them and ready to finish the treatment but the invisalign specialist wants to make them perfect so we are tweaking a few more things at no further expense. So in the next month i will have completed my treatment with perfect straight teeth. The best thing for me about this whole process was we had maybe 5 appointments in the 9 months and the braces were easy to wear and remove. Nobody, including my close family members and friends could detect i had been wearing the braces. They are easy to wear and to remove and if you stick to the specialists plan the results will show and belive me the self confidence will grow. Im so happy with everything, my only regret is I didnt do it earlier. The specialist whose name is Usman, takes his time and doesnt rush, i can see he is a perfectionist and he himself isnt satisfied till the job is perfect. No extra added fees or hidden payments, any additional work for tweaks or perfecting is within the original price. What more could you ask for? Honest review here, i was so disheartened when a local dentist said no chance we can sort you out. A specialist will do the job and will do it well. Usman is a specialist and he is highly recommended and thank God that Hyslop dental practice was recommended to me.”

“James and his team are professional, thorough and friendly. At no point during my many visits did they make me feel rushed and at each visit the procedure was explained properly. Pricing was transparent and there were no 'surprise' costs along the way. Aftercare has been impressive too as James saw me two weeks after the treatment was concluded and I have a further appointment at the 2 week juncture. For anyone considering cosmetic/ lengthy dental work, I would recommend a visit to James.”

“I was a very nervous 80 year old when i came to the practice to discuss dental implants. I was treated with the utmost respect and was fully informed of all the procedures that would take place. The treatment was a real success and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone thinking of dental implants. I now enjoy my food which I hadn’t been able to do for many years.”
