“Deeply Misleading Process and Poor Communication
My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The entire process has felt misleading, particularly around the so-called “reservation deposit.” At no point was it made clear that this fee is paid to the auction company and not to the seller, meaning it provides absolutely no real protection or commitment from the buyer. This was only clarified after repeated questioning, by which point we were left with no leverage and no meaningful options.
Communication throughout has been slow, unclear, and often contradictory. We were repeatedly given reassurances that turned out to be inaccurate or incomplete, and any concerns raised were met with generic responses rather than genuine assistance.
What is most frustrating is the complete lack of regard for the seller. We were left feeling sidelined, unsupported, and misled about key aspects of the process that directly affected our position. The whole experience has created unnecessary stress, delays, and confusion, and it has shown a level of disregard that no seller should have to deal with.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution. Transparency and communication should be fundamental in property transactions, and unfortunately, this company has fallen far short of both.”
“Absolutely useless, never get hold of anyone, Chloe heslop was appointed to manage the process, countless voicemails and emails, never get a reply, she called me once, after my mortgage broker contacted someone she knows personally at Iamsold, and got her to call me… the seller lied about the ownership of the private road, Iamsold response to this issue “our fee is non refundable” I told her I didn’t talk about the fee, I am trying to understand who owns the property you are selling me, answer again”our fee is non refundable”. Now, we are two weeks pass the 56 days, the sellers solicitor, a company recommended by Iamsold and Iamsold can’t be reached…. The sales guy at iam sold who was also quite difficult to reach early on, now can’t be reached at all, avoid dealing them at all cost”
