“I planned on giving this is as a gift. Their contract states that you can terminate the contract at any point if you are dissatisfied. When I tried to do that, they gave me excuses of how I can't possibly be dissatisfied because I haven't even seen an illustration.
The person they put you in contact with is NOT the illustrator. And she doesn't speak English clear enough to understand. She also doesn't understand what it means when you say "the link doesn't work".
I have asked for a refund via text, voicemail, and email. They are ignoring all contact from me and I am out $600. Do NOT fall for this scam or use this company.”
“I had a terrible time working with Illustration Experts. The process was quoted at a few weeks turn around and took me 6 months of literally pestering my illustrator to get the job done. When it was done it was sent to me 100% on cardstock. I wanted a book with pages and paper, not a pamphlet like what I got. I spent $500 for some pretty terrible quality work and had to continually ask along the way when it would be ready, and was met with the annoyed responses from the illustrator. His responses seemed AI or computer generated, and to this day I'm not even sure I was corresponding with an actual person. Do now work with them.”
“If there was any rating for 0 star, I would have given it. These guys are nothing but crooks. Can you tell from their apparently fictitious names? What kind of names are these: Joe Root, Chris Mark, Kenth Bella, Mark Neal, Nancy Fins, and Peter James etc.? All potentially fake names with fake 5 stars ratings across the board to arguably deceive you. Test them out and regret it. Go with them and do it your own peril by experiencing what I experienced. These crooks cheated me and stole my money. They're thieves and can do very sloppy job too. And I challenge them to sue me for defamation so that I can counter sue them for damages because truth in defamation is not defamation. I will prove my allegations in court against them.”
“The anonymous person’s review on Illustration Experts is correct!! I contacted these guys to do a piece of job for me, they didn’t do the job but took the payment…they ripped me off!!
I also noticed that the 5 stars ratings on their page were arranged and organised by them. I strongly feel the names here are made up names. For instance, Kenth Bella is not a proper name. Bella is a female’s name and can’t be a surname. Please look at the names that rated them 5 stars critically.
I would advise that you don’t do business with them….you will make payment and will not get them to have your job done!!”
“These guys are not a legitimate company and are not based in the US but Pakistan. Even if they're, they are thieves.
They use fake and imagination names and accounts to give themselves five stars ratings. They are fooling consumers as being in the US when in fact, they're based in Pakistan. They're a lying thief and will ripe you off.
They will demand a deposit from you and will do a very bad and sloppy job. When you try to get a hold of them you wouldn't get them.
Do not use their service if you love yourself and your hard earned money. Do not waste your money on them because it will be wasted.
And finally, do not give any attention to the fake and made up reviews they have posted about themselves to counter negative reviews. Take heel and run away from disappointment.”
