I have just enquired about and taken out a buildings policy. I first had a very pleasant and reassuring conversation with Fotini Hazzard and have since spoken to two other members of staff who were competant and helpful. So far so good!

I found Ben the salesman to be very helpful and cooperative. He spent 40 minutes going through the finer points of the policy and explaining things clearly that needed explanation. Although I feel that the cost of insurance and the Dask combined were rather expensive, I did, at least, feel more relaxed once I had taken the plunge (just knowing that the place was covered in the event of a natural disaster, or fire etc). I feel that Intasure were pressurising the customer in insisting that they would only offer Dask cover if they purchased buildings cover as this naturally did not give me the option to shop around for a more suitable or economical policy. On a final note, being able to insure my Turkish property without speaking Turkish was good, and all the documents are in English.

I have insured my property with intasure for 3 years now under a number of different policy types. Originally I insured it as a holiday home, then as a long term let and I have recently insured it as a holiday let. intasure were able to provide policies suited to my requirements and the whole process of arranging the policy was painless. The telephone advisers were very helpful and documents were sent to me by email. I would recommend intasure as a one stop shop for all types of property insurance.

I've been buying a second property and have been back and forth over the deatils and start date. Staff at Intasure have been helpful at every stage and I'm confident I have made the right choice for my holiday home insurance.

Generally a very positive experience until I came to pay, - it is still a UK call centre, phone always answered quickly by polite well trained staff who are knowledgeable about the product they are selling and can provide answers to questions. Major gripe this year is the cost of credit, I usually pay monthly but with base rates still at 0.5% how can a finance charge of 15.4% to pay monthly be justified? Even paying by credit card incurred a 2.5% fee, and I was told to pay by debit card or cheque would still cost 2.5% so this is simply a hidden charge. Unfortunately just like the airlines, this does leave a bad taste!

As at this present time, I have had a good rapport with the company, although I have not put any claims through, I have found that all areas of cover exceed what I needed., and having the advantage of a very easy payment, (mine has been paid in full on the date), all in all I would definitely use Intersure again. This is my second year with Intasure. They are always very helpful on the phone and their staff are always very competent. I've never had to make a claim so I cannot comment on that.
