We've had your insurance for our Spanish apartment for 1 year, and when we made our single claim for a damaged air conditioning unit, we were very happy with the speed and efficiency of settlement of the claim. What we did not appreciate was the hike in next years premium which we have just paid, of over £80. This seems to us like a real kick in the teeth for daring to make a claim. What is the point of having insurance at a reasonable premium, if you're going to get punished should you have to make a claim? Very disappointed.

I have used Intasure for many years and have been happy with the level of cover offered at a competitive rate. I guess the only real way of testing insurance is when you need to claim which I haven't done thus far.

Price virtually unchanged from last year and the service was very pleasant and efficient. Couldn't ask for any more really.

Fast and efficient process to move from my old insurer to Intrasure at a much better rate with additional earthquake insurance. Quick to modify the offer when I wanted Accidental Breakage cover included. Hassle free experience -- hopefully any claims process will be equally hassle free.

I renew by phone - I get through straight away to somebody, who then deals with my request, no holding the line or shifted about - lovely! I am reminded by email several weeks before renewal and again just before policy expires. I have not made a claim but price and communication 100%

The company response to my email query was quick and thorough. The young woman who phoned was well suited to dealing with customers....friendly and professional. And the icing on the cake for me?..........she was nicely spoken (in a way that most ordinary people used to be nicely spoken). It's a rare pleasure these days to hear someone speaking who DOSEN'T sound as if they've just just stepped off an EastEnders set. Thank you.

My renewal was dealt with efficiently, cheerfully and kindly. I was very happy with the service. My only criticism would be the high rate phone number. When in the UK I have only a mobile phone and here in Greece these numbers are not recognised. Had your operative been unable to reach me by phone or email, the policy would have lapsed. As I also explained, this Greek island, symi, is incredibly safe, and I feel no real need to have my meagre contents insured. I am only really worried about the property during adverse weather conditions or even earthquake. However, it has stood for over 100 years and I keep it well maintained. Anyway I am grateful for the speedy and kindly help I was given. I find it tough enough making decisions on my own, since the sad loss of my husband here, after 50 years together. Christine Brown

I now have 4 holiday let properties with contents insurance provided by Intasure. I have no claims experience with Intasure. So far my dealings with Intasure have been totally satisfactory. This customer survey is how I believe it should be done - i.e. not steering the customer with a long string of multiple choice questions satisfying the company's own agenda, but instead inviting the customers own freeform comments. Intasure is to be commended on this.

We spoke with Lawrence & he asked the usual questions etc., & after discussion about the price we renewed the policy for a further year. He then went through all the other items in a very quick & concise manner. On the Saturday we did have a problem getting through & had the usual press one etc & your opening hours & then a message saying the office was closed, this happened twice. For us not a problem but could be for some people. Regards, Mark & Faith Honeysett

Absolute rubbish I wanted to pay monthly and reviewed a code to enter into a email to register which only rejects it time after time there is no phone number to contact the company with only a notice saying if it's not done an extra £10 will be charged why ????

Insurance - unless you're unlucky enough to have to pay monthly - is one of those annual payments easy to forget. Especially if it covers a second home overseas. So it's good that Instasure reminds you in good time. And if Intasure is one of a number of companies offering other necessities of life, like travel for the ancients because your lifelong insurer loses interest in the 80s+ - surely something that should be sorted out now the population is not only growing older but remaining active!
