“Do not use! I was burgled whilst I was at home, but dealing with integra (via a comparison website)has left me feeling that I’ve been robbed a second time!! One of my stolen items was a Tag watch, my options were either a cash settlement less than the value of the watch or vouchers!! I took the voucher Signet group, using the shops H Samuel or Ernest jones which do not sell Tag watches directly!! Also lost an engagement ring but my final settlement will not even afford me a similar or slightly lesser ring than my original (gorgeous)replacement !! I didn’t even bother to claim for lots of small bits of Jewellery as I had no receipts. Word of warning LIST EVERY ITEM (and some) as this lot are scammers.”
“Just another insurance company who will try and wriggle their way out of paying a claim by quoting small print. These companies should be stopped as they are basically scam artists.
Shame also on Hastings Direct who I've used for years for brokering such companies.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS”
“What ever you do make sure you read the small print when taking out home insurance. One night when one of the major storms was on I can home to find that a 50 kilo garden table had been blown 20 feet into my glass bifold doors, smashing one of the panes.Even though in 30 years I have never claimed on house insurance on this occasion I thought I would do so.I put a claim in that was rejected. I couldn’t understand why?? Apparently it’s because the wind speed in my postcode was only 40 mph? And in their small print it quotes it has to be 55mph.How they know what the gust speeds were in my garden amazes me. Anyone with the slightest intelligence knows it is the sudden gusts of wind that cause the damage.I live inland where gusts of 55mph are very rare unless you live on the coast. This is just a loophole insurance cheat that they use again people that don’t read every tiny bit of small print. So please read the small print when it comes to storm damage because it’s a pretty useless thing to have.I will be taking this to the financial ombudsman. Also their underwriter Integra insurance have very poor reviews and are probably just a low budget company that Hastings use.”
“integra insurance services!
Won’t pay out when you need them!!!
Terrible support and customer service, very slow response time, I’m heavily pregnant and now being cross questioned 6 weeks after the event of having a genuine paint spill accident and they are clearly trying to get out of paying out for it. Literally interrogated over and over for more than an hour and reduced me to tears with frustration on a recorded video call that I was not asked for prior consent of. I have supplied them with everything they have asked for, photographs, videos, emails messages, phone calls and they are dragging this out and trying to find ways to not pay out. Pretty stressful when I could give birth at any time. I’ve explained this is causing me stress and anxiety and even more questions are being sent. Use a larger more reputable company would be my advice after this VERY stressful experience.”
