“Excellent investment coverage from old to upcoming companies, funds and other investment avenues. It is a pity they employ Robert Gottleisben. He has a deranged fixation on Labor and is seems to find a way to blame them for everything. Other commentators are great though. Their coverage has paid for itself many times over.”

“There is a good cross section of views in the various articles. In the "ask Alan" & "the money cafe" podcasts I sometimes get the impression that the commentators are seeing the questions for the first time which leads sometimes to a weak or vague response. It would be a better experience if the questions were better researched prior to offering a response.”

“I am a circa 20 year member. It is my main tool for share purchase information. I enjoy the plain speaking, especially John Addis and James Carlisle There appears to be a significant imbalance in the number of BUY recommendations between some analysts leading one to feel one or two may be more "bullish" by nature. I would like to have thought this could be mitigated by the use of the Dragons den.”

“I find emails/articles interesting but it would be good to do some stories around top 100 companies across different industries based on investment outlook - growth, income, etc modelled on investment cycle (beginner, mature, risk taker, risk adverse, retirement, etc). Thanks”

“I have been very impressed by the team this year with some cracking recommendations (like REH, Audinate, FDV). But I also like the caution and have sold out of a few things that were a bit frothy after reading your assessment (BTH and NTO). I find it harder to sell things than to buy so even if you write up a stock and decide it is too pricey that is very helpful in terms of selling if I hold that stock. I find some of the calls in the model portfolios a bit hard to reconcile with whatever the current recommendation is and would like a bit more consistency there. I also would like to see more emphasis on smaller stocks where I think there is more alpha than the large ones, and also some of the more recent IPOs like NUIX and Hipage (HPG). But overall I think you have navigated the last 12 months brilliantly in very difficult circumstances.”

“The research articles are well researched and generally very good value. However, I have one complaint. Few people would undertake an investment without first examining the financials of a company and nowhere in the Intelligent Investor format are company financials (B/Sheet, Cash Flows, P & L, etc.) supplied; current, historic or future. Indeed, in some cases not even such basics as debt ratios or PEs are supplied. Since the suggested investments are frequently small or lesser known companies it is often difficult to find the information elsewhere. Even when the information is available elsewhere it would nevertheless have been far more convenient to have it alongside the research motivating the enquiry. Could you please supply company financials somewhere on the website? I stress that this is by way of a constructive criticism. I am very happy with the quality of the research provided and have made several excellent investments on your suggestions - hence my recent renewal of my subscription. Regards, Ray Pridmore”

“My portfolio is about 50 stocks, and up 37% over just more than 2 years. I have a list of 150 stocks that have gained my interest over that time, of which five were due to I-Invest comment. AD8 up 10%, CSL 25%, NXT 60%, PBH 200%(though I sold them for a modest gain due to discomfort about "moat" concerns, and RUL which I didn't buy. Of course other sources also offered favourable comment about these stocks. However, bottom line is that I am happy to have had I-Invest input.”

“The hidden gem for me is the weekly review by Alan Kohler. It gives a good summary and analysis of weekly events. The list of readings always thought provoking and a bit of light entertainment too. I also like his interviews with CEOs which provide lots of interesting data about emerging companies. Not too keen on the podcasts as they take a long time to listen too. If posible have transcripts so you can just focus on the topics you're interested in.”
