“Particularly enjoy the podcasts. Alan is an excellent interviewer. Some areas for adjustment: - less opinion from Alan, he is a little biased and extreme. His guests have opinion that I like to hear. Variety and informed. - more time interviewing larger companies. A lot of CEO interviews are with micro companies and therefore of little value to most.”

“Good independent business news source which covers a lot of ground not covered by the local press. Interesting interviews which allow me to go away and do more in depth research on the few I am more interested in. Keep it up!”

“Mostly I like ER because I have trust in Alan Kohler as a person of honesty and integrity and financial intelligence. He may not get every call right but he gives us a good unbiased investigation of companies, directors, financial topics and what's going on in the world - so from the macro to the micro and all the in-between. And that's all any financial adviser can do really. It's good value for money.”

“I am very happy with the service and I think that the journalism is second to none. I think improvements could be made by maybe getting regular contributions from handpicked outstanding investors. I know you guys are all investors but I would like to hear regularly from market leading ones like Alex Waslitz, Kerr Neilson or Hamish Douglas - I know that would be really hard to do as they would be very hard to get but thought i’d float the idea anyway. I think your commentary is great though and very informative about the range of company’s and issues that are out there. Well worth the subscription price.”

“I like the Morning Briefs including Alan Kohler interview and the Ask Alan segments particularly with podcast capability, Evan Lucas's Market Watch segments are good too. The Money Cafe segment is informative and enjoyable too.”

“Many interviews & articles are too long. Few people can afford to listen to a webcast for 30-45 mins. Such interviews should be restricted to 15-20mins max. Read articles should also specify read time with max 5-7 mins.”

“I began with I,I. about 15 years ago as a total newcomer. I.I. got me into Macquarie, Cochlear, Sydney Airport, ASX, Wesfarmers and BHP when they were a fraction of their present price (and I am an income investor). There have been some mistakes but far fewer. I appreciate the thoughtful and worked over explanations which give me considerable confidence in I.I.'s recommendations.”

“I see Intelligent Investor as straight shooters, lots of experience with their feet on the ground, I read and listen to reports with interest. After some years I am coming round to your approach to investing, although I do like a bit of risk, have a punt so to speak. I have recently put as modest some into one of your managed products which is going well and I ecxpect I shall do more of that.”

“Articles seem to reflect the true state of affairs, not a sensationalized version that the media produce to influence ratings. The company valuations are of value to me as they seem a realistic portrayal of the profitability of the company. The information provided also improves my knowledge of aspects that influence company performance.”
