“This tour is an excellent option to get from Southampton to London. We normally do not like bus tours, but this one was very well organized and efficient. Our tour director was friendly, helpful, and did a great job briefing us on the history of Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle during the driving portions. The tickets for entry to each site were ready for us and we avoided a lot of lines. Can't ask for a better experience, highly recommend!”

“We booked two days with International Friends--the first for a day at Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Windsor Castle; and the second for a day at Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. We booked driver and car, not guide service, and the first day, we got exactly that. Our driver, ***, was excellent--professional, polite, slightly reserved. We made it through heavy traffic to Stonehenge and lunched in Salisbury, but by the time we finished at Salisbury, it was much too late to even consider a Windsor visit. *** did take us into Woodstock to look at Windsor from the outside, for which we were grateful, but this added considerable driving time. We had booked ahead for Windsor, so missing it was a disappointment. It would have been very helpful if the tour service had looked more carefully at our requested itinerary and worked with us to make it more reasonable--even without traffic, making these three stops would have been near impossible. We had no real way of knowing that, but presumably they should have.\nThe second day our driver, ***, was absolutely amazing--widely knowledgeable, charming, gregarious (but also happy to drive quietly as we slept on the way home!). He knew the Cotswolds like the back of his hand and took us winding through tiny back-country roads to picture-perfect villages, including a pub for lunch that was absolutely perfect. We would be delighted to spend more days in ***'s company any time! Overall, we were very pleased with International Friends.”

“Our guide was *** "not an aussie and not a wizard," but he was pretty magical! He gave us a ton of information about the King Arthur legend and was a great guide through all the stops. We got to Stonehenge right when it opened and beat the crowds so that we had time to see it without waiting in line. Although time was short at the stops, seeing so much in one day would have been impossible without coming back much later. The pick up was easy to find and the drop off was also really convenient.”

“The Downton Abbey filming locations small group tour was a day to remember. The day started with a driver who picked us up at one of the four convienent locations around London. The bus was so comfortable. The small group made the tour special and personalized. Our tour guide Debbie was wonderful. She took the time to talk to each one of us. She was funny and entertaining as well as informative about Downton Abbey and the villages, farm and Highclere castle. It was a most enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour!”

“We did the transfer from Southampton to Central London, with stops at Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Our guide, ***, was waiting for us as we exited the ship. Comfortable van transport for our group of six with plenty of room for luggage. Excellent commentary on the history of theee areas along the way. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent and personable tour guide, who made us feel like friends. He was willing to answer questions, and kept us on schedule without stress... a difficult task! He also gave us time to explore, a definite plus.\n\nI would have liked a little more intro to Canterbury Cathefral, especially since there is no guidance inside. It was difficult ult to find everything of interest. Perhaps a self-guided tour sheet could be provided, for the major things.\n\nMany thanks!!\n”

“It would have been good if someone in authority could have lined us up more orderly before getting on the coach - so that other passengers could pass. Also it was the last to arrive who made a front line and so entered the bus first for front seats.\nWe felt *** was very friendly and informative and thoroughly enjoyed spending our day at bath and The Cotswalds before being dropped at Heathrow Airport.”

“The drive from London to Southampton was pleasant and very good. The driver was on time when he picked us up and he got us to our destination on time which was great!!. The stop to Stonehenge and the time given to us to enjoy the tourist attraction was more than enough. The driver also mentioned landmarks along the way.”
