“We recently asked John Lewis to price up two Roman blinds for our front lounge and dining room. The fabric was a harlequin design at 68 pounds per square meter. In the store, the young lady who served us said she was going for a break in the middle of our discussion. We were informed that a 20% discount was available. When the person came to measure a morning appointment, and price up the installation, the first thing she asked to charge her laptop. Also she said that she always provides the more expensive hand made service. She said she knew nothing about the 20% discount.,John Lewis charge for removing existing curtains. We were not satisfied with the service and arranged an Interior designer curtain manufacture in Peterborough who provided exactly the same Haliquin material Roman blinds at approximately £200 less. They also do not charge to remove existing curtains, or to measure and came all the way from Peterborough to install them extremely happy with their service.”
