“They advertise as serving halal food. Nowhere does it say there is alcohol in any of the dishes. After ordering and paying, I asked just by the by, that you do advertise as halal food so everything is halal? I was told some dishes have cooking alcohol and they cannot say how much of it is used. They didn’t offer me any dishes without alcohol neither did they give me a refund after paying 8.45 including a bag as well!”
“Poor customer service. I wanted to eat in, but they did not let me sit down as they were closing in an hour. However there was no notice nor was I informed before placing the order. This was a big inconvenience as I would not have ordered the food if I was told that it was takeaway service only before placing order. The girl on the counter (Megan) said that I should have said I wanted to eat in before ordering (never heard that before) and it was my fault. I was forcefully charged, made to pay and made to take out. It was very poor customer service.
I had a sleeping baby in the pushchair and it was raining outside! Wanted to eat-in. Megan was proudly saying she has excellent customer service experience - I really doubt that Megan.
I come to this shop quite regularly since the day it opened. I will think twice in the future (there are much more choices now in Leicester city centre)
