Ordered bedding on the 14th of April and two weeks later no dispatch letter. Tried to Call, but call centre closed due to COVID19, followed the instructions online and was told that a representative would be in touch straight away. No one got back to me. Went through this process again - still no reply. Got in touch with "Resolver" complaint.resolver.co.uk and they were MARVELLOUS!!! The very next day of handing my complaint over to then Laura Ashley dispatched!! If you want to get your purchases delivered, then go through Resolver!!

The quality of the products I ordered were as good as ever but, their customer service and delivery times are dreadful. Despite the problems of our current times to take nearly three weeks to arrive and only after chasing, I think is unacceptable. Others orders made to competitors x 3 arrived each time within 7 days max.

Bought a few items in store, assistant uncommunicative although I spoke to her, no courtesy, no pleasantries, I may as well have not existed. Wouldn't be surprised if this organisation ends up down the pan

So excited to receive my four made to measure blinds. Arranged for someone to come and put them up today only to find that two of the blinds had no wall fixings in the box. I telephoned customer services, who said that they couldn't do anything until next Tuesday and I could expect to receive the fittings by the end of next week. The customer service was appalling, no genuine apology. I asked who to complain to as I had incurred costs and so told not to bother as I should have checked in the boxes to make sure the fittings were in there - what has happened to Laura Ashley????

Very slow dispatch time from date of order to delivery. Poor communication throughout and slow to refund returned goods. Eventually had to prompt. Spent considerable money with Laura Ashley over recent years.

Bought Laura Ashley striped grey awning curtains great price in sale, so kept them, but they are so thin, really disappointing summer curtains. Would not buy curtains from LA again, speaking to friends lots of similar findings fabric very, very thin.

First lot of curtains were the wrong size - 33 inches wide each curtain instead of 66 inches wide!!!! The second lot were hung up with great expectations but the stitching that has been done to make the curtains wide enough is shocking and is ruched from top to bottom. They have to go back and in the meantime we have no curtains in our bedroom - very annoying.

The quality of the clothing used to be excellent but that has changed. A lot of the items are very thin material and badly made - seams unravelling etc , but the prices are very expensive.

I purchased two sets of very wide ready made lined curtains but on drawing one of them up, I discovered that the middle thread of the curtain tape had snapped. As I was in a hurry to get them up and didn't want to wait for new ones to be delivered, I changed the tape myself and returned the offending tape to my local Laura Ashley store where I was informed that they could do nothing about it as I had purchased the curtains on-line and not from the store. Not a very helpful response! However, worse was to come. The remaining 3 curtains were gathered and were about to be hung at the window when I discovered that the middle thread on all three curtains had snapped. They were being held in place by the two outside threads. I rang LA immediately but was informed that because they had been gathered, nothing could be done. I was very cross. I changed the tape on all 3 curtains and sent the offending tape back to LA headquarters. I am old but handy with a sewing machine so although it was a time consuming job I was able to rectify the problem myself. I didn't want a refund or compensation or payment for the tape I had bought. A genuine heartfelt apology would have been acceptable but to date I have heard nothing and don't expect to. I hope it was only this batch of heading tape that was faulty. Some people may have hung curtains without realising the middle thread was broken and I was alerting LA to this fact and that they may receive more complaints. I have purchased from LA many times in the past and always received excellent service but their customer service at the moment is appalling and I have vowed never to purchase from them again. To customers purchasing curtains I would say to not only check the curtain material but also the header tape, tho the flaw may not be visible until gathering up. LA's policy is that once the curtains are gathered, there can be no exchange. In these circumstances this policy is very poor and perhaps needs reviewing as a matter of urgency. LA's standards and customer care, are, on this occasion extremely disappointing.
