“The course content very good, but I felt Kevin lacked personality and found him difficult to speak to. I also thought it was harsh that the people that had failed did not get a chance on the day to re-take the test which left one of them quite distressed.”
Hi Adrian, Thank you for your comments which are very important to us. We apologise if you felt the Tutor was not at his best and will take this on board. With regards to the re-test we have to abide by the CITB scheme rules that are clear in stating a re-test should not be undertaken if the delegate falls below the required percentage for a pass. In order not to put the delegate at a disadvantage it is always best for a little more revision to be done before a re-sit to help ensure a pass for the next time. Please let me know if you need anything else. Rachael Henson-National Training Manager.
“A good easy to find venue, facilities and food provide were very good. The only draw back was when a tower scaffold course was held out side the up stairs training room which disrupted the presentation and concentration levels of our group for most of the afternoon.”
“Handy location for car,bus access.Very useful on site parking, Confident, Knowledgeable trainers.Good refreshments. We know where you are when we require more training.”
“Very welcoming well spoken teacher, I thought he got his points across very well and overall enjoyed the day and learnt a lot more than expected I would definitely use your service again.”
“My only complaint is that the results take too much time to reach cscs in order for me to apply for my cscs card I did my test on Thursday the following ties the results haven't reached cscs ?????????? Why arnt they emailed the next day or the following day???????? Sort it out please. Thanks”
Thank you for your comments, we were concerned to hear this and I hope I am able to offer an explanation. Regarding the results we wish to stress that as soon as the paperwork is given to us by the Trainer following the completion of the course they are emailed through to CITB (Construction Industry Training Board). We are assured that the results are then added to their database and a trigger is in place for all Site Safety Awareness courses to be activated as quickly as possible as they are more times than not linked to the application of a CSCS card. We can only assume that the sheer volume of applications is perhaps a reason for delays. We assure you we will take your comments on board and will be discussing the situation with our representative from CITB. Rachael Henson-National Training Manager
“Hi Rachael,
Overall I had a good experience at Le Breton and I have only 2 minor issues.
(1) We were not told how long it would take to receive our certificates
(2) Because I am quite tall I noticed there was quite a build up of dirt on top of the
vending machines in the dining area.
I hope this helps you in some small way.
Thank you
Graham.
PS. I will NOT be sharing these views on ANY social media.”
Hi Graham, thank you so much for your comments. I'm sorry you were not informed of how long the certificates take. As these are issued by the Awarding body we are only able to provide approximations in any case but we will use this information to improve our service. With regards to the vending machines we have started a clean up operation. We were not aware of this but will make sure this does not go unnoticed again. Many thanks, Rachael
