“Good facilities apart from parking.
Excellent tuition.
Classroom abit small when full (22) on course.
Lunch provided not too good.
Overall good though as i got a pass on sssts course.”
“Firstly is 1 the highest score or lowest for your rating?
A more structured, emphasised teaching/guidance approach is needed in conjunction with the "safe start" hand book that had been given out.
An overview of each section, pointing out that any question in the exam maybe asked that might not even be in the hand book, therefore thorougher reading and broad knowledge will equip you to pass the exam.
ps.(I did pass)”
“Was suppose to be a train the trainer but only got shown the basic face fit I was thinking before the course I might put more people through courses at Le Breton but after I really changed my mind”
Good Afternoon, I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the course but can assure you that the half day course you attended was indeed a Face Fit Train the Trainer course and the certificate we issued to you is proof of this. The content of the course has a large practical element which demonstrates to you how to conduct face fit tests yourself on colleagues. We also provide you with a USB and kit in order for you to do your own tests. We conduct basic face fit tests ourselves so if yours had been just a basic face fit demonstration you would have been here for less than half hour. We hope this helps to reassure you that the course you attended was the one you booked.
Thank you for your comments. We are sorry your journey was difficult and would ask that when visiting us again please let us know if we can offer any assistance with this. We are in the process of trialing a few catering companies with a view to choosing the one we are most satisfied with so your comments are welcome, however we are again sorry that your lunch was not satisfactory. We are really pleased that your course was enjoyable and hope that you will contact us again if we can provide you with any Training. Kind regards, Rachael Henson, National Training Manager, LeBreton Services Ltd.
“Good course with knowledgable tutor, however, as with the vast majority of courses, it was dragged out for way too long and probably could have been completed within a day or two.”
Thank you for your comments regarding the duration of the course. The topics covered on the SMSTS courses are varied and include undertaking suitable risk assessments for construction sites, scaffolding, electricity, fire safety, confined spaces, the Health & Safety at work act, CDM Regs, method statements, demolition and accepted working practises in the construction environment amongst many other subjects. The learners are required to partake in group sessions as well as take core exercise homework away with them to complete at home. The duration of the course therefore is set as such to enable each learner sufficient time to complete all that is required. Regards Rachael Henson, National Training Manager, LeBreton Services Ltd.
“The training was good on the day, however I am yet to receive my certificate, I was told it was sent to the office in London however no one there has seen it.
Thankyou”
We were concerned to hear you had not received your certificate as we use Royal Mail Signed For service. We have an item reference number and confirmation from Royal Mail to say the item was delivered from their Southwark delivery office on 8th August 2014. Please contact us if you need this information.
