“Staff are always very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in the store. My only problem is with the quality of the mouldings. There does not seem to be any quality control. Mouldings are often damaged or marked in some way - particularly natural wood mouldings. I just collected a moulding last week and only realised half way through making a frame that there was a scratch on it (L087). As a result, there is a lot of wastage and therefore costly to the business. It would help if mouldings were wrapped with the click and collect service to prevent further damage. Another problem is that if you are making a large frame and want two lengths of natural wood moulding matching, you often open a wrapped pack to find that they don't match at all. Having said that, if you spot the problems in time, staff are always happy to swap the moulding and are always polite and helpful.”

“Although the mount card we buy is very good and keenly priced the packaging is not good enough. I have had 2 shipments damaged. Lion have replaced the damaged goods but I have to go to the trouble of taking pictures and waiting for another delivery, Also when I have emailed them about these faults they do not reply.”
