This headlamp works as expected straight out of the box which is exciting in itself but I love the customization! First and foremost I can adjust the lamp to dim itself based on my height and head position. Second, I can adjust the color, saturation and brightness which I love! I can’t wait to take this out camping in the woods and on Playa!

I got a few headlamps for my friends for when we can all go to shows and big events again. The headband part is super reflective, so I know I can spot them in a crowd.

Super cool headlamp! I love that it automatically turns off so it doesn't blind my friends--having attended large camping events and festivals, I'm intimately familiar with the suffering that can be caused by headlamps becoming "hippie mace". Also a big fan of being able to change my color--a PURPLE headlamp made me ask "Why don't ALL headlamps do this??!". Big fan of LoBeams--five stars!

This headlamp is fun, easy, and satisfying to use. All the customizable settings, such as light color and the angle at which bright lights turn on, are customizable with head motions and button presses. To top it all off, the packaging looks great and is completely recyclable. I've used this headlamp for searching for things in the dark, reading, and running around the city at night. As someone working on the development of LoBeams, I'm incredibly happy with how it feels, looks, and performs. And it will only get better from now on. Look out for regular firmware updates!

LoBeams is exactly the headlamp that any camper, biker, hiker, or outdoors-in-the-dark enthusiast has ever wanted. It's just as bright and light as any specialty headlamp, but the social mode feature plus the custom color option put it on a whole new level. You can see in the photo my new *signature shade* is a bright teal, which keeps me safe and looking cool biking around Boston at night. As a proud member of the small but mighty LoBeams team, I can't wait to see how customers use LoBeams to reimagine all the activities that can be done in the dark!

I was instantly sold on LoBeams when I saw the dimming feature that keeps you from blinding your friends. And, I absolutely love the multilayered signature color settings, it is such a creative way to interact while finding your way in the dark.

Justin and the team have nailed it on their promise. A great headlamp that makes the common problem of blinding your fellow camper no more. Immediately upon receiving my LoBeams, I was impressed with the packaging, the build quality, and the promise of a variable light source that delivers. Excited to take my LoBeams on a proper trip to the mountains/desert, and leave a more in-depth review.
