“A great classic reel. Heavy enough to balance a 15’ two handed rod. Drag could stop a freight train. Drag out of the box is a little tight on the loosest setting but apparently you can use the Allen key to adjust.”

“I will use this rod on the Margaree River for Atlantics this coming summer and again for the fall on Vancouver Island for 2 months of coho on the beach. I will let you know exactly what I think. I have hooked literally 1000s of each species over the past 30 plus years. Cheers guys. I'll be bringing your 9foot 10 weight to South Andros for January and February, I'll let you know how that does as well.”
