The seller denied all knowledge, then offered 20% refund and then said I must send the item back to China at my own expense, which is against ebay's terms and conditions.

I had no choice in the matter and ebay dictated the return and issued a full refund including seller costs.

I used to buy from eBay recently I had really bad experiences from three sellers from eBay it taught me a lesson not to buy online if what you ordered online does not fit You only get half money back and you cannot send it back and get a full refund so I had to throw the things in the trash most of the things I got were really quality one dress came it looked second hand I asked if I could send it back the seller it'd be better if I keep it they would refund me the dress and how embarrassing they asked me to give it as a present or to sell it how embarrassing the second one the same thing I thought they were clogs with fur lining I got only the lining not the clog for $5.

The tracking shows as delivered I didn't get any parcel, but eBay is not going to refund me the money, because I don't have proof that it was not delivered.

Brought walking sandals for my holiday from eBay ..worn 4 times on holiday only to have them completely fall apart at the seams . Impossible to wear them after that on my holiday.when returning home asked for a refund and was refused. Shoddy ebay goods ,shoddy experience of eBay and disgusting eBay customer service . Will not be using eBay again for anything

EBay have apologised for the wrong advice given by their 'expert' and have now shut my claim for a refund without reason! Ebay clearly make my refund claiming for a refund, impossible, even lying and giving factually wrong information, when it would be simple for the seller to make a claim against Royal Mail? Probably because they know that sellers will use the cheapest method of delivery available and won't be covered to the value of the items sent.

Ebay is avery greedy company who will take £15 of a £50 sale. The control what you sell and if a buyer says they didn't receive it or its damaged they will give a refund before any item is returned. Many buyers are theives so be very carefull as a seller ebay doesn't care about you. As a buyer the will help but with AI contact is poor. Best to avoid ebay.
