Ebay made my company bankrupt due to 4 deliveries to customers not being received over the Christmas period 2023 out of 750 deliveries. August this year our seller lever fell from outstanding to below standard due to these 4 orders not being received. Ebay's algorithm saw this as a negative and Ebay would not do anything to help. They did not respond to our letters sent to head office, emails or phone calls. Being below standard means that you can't promote listings and you are moved to some of the very last pages so you are never seen. From doing 20 to 30 orders per day we were doing 5 orders per month. BEWARE. Many other sellers have experienced this.”

Received belligerent, unfair negative feedback from a buyer who is clearly a total hooligan, and eBay refused to step in and remove it, saying "that they didn’t find the feedback in violation of their policy". “I used to buy from eBay recently I had really bad experiences from three sellers from eBay it taught me a lesson not to buy online if what you ordered online does not fit You only get half money back and you cannot send it back and get a full refund so I had to throw the things in the trash most of the things I got were really quality one dress came it looked second hand I asked if I could send it back the seller it'd be better if I keep it they would refund me the dress and how embarrassing they asked me to give it as a present or to sell it how embarrassing the second one the same thing I thought they were clogs with fur lining I got only the lining not the clog for $5.99 where I live you can get clogs for £2 so it taught me a lesson to buy on eBay I asked this person the seller politely if I could send it back the answer the same thing it was really embarrassing I could keep it they would send me half the refund but I did not receive the refund from the eBay seller they told me I could give the further lining insoles to someone as a present or sell it that is highly embarrassing the third seller a from China I believe I paid $16.99 for a dress for my granddaughter the seller took the money 3 weeks on no tracking information nothing the other seller a tracksuit and a tops for my granddaughter the seller no reply the told me the courier deliberate to my house If so I told them where is my signature where is the photo proof that it was delivered to my door I have a CCTV at the front of my house nothing was delivered on the day they said on the 4th of December the courier delivered it I was in all day I sit near the lounge window typing my book I didn't see anyone not even a postman that day I had a seen them I would have definitely opened the door no bell no knocking nothing but just to excuse the parcel was delivered to me I did not receive a refund any of this or I sent messages to eBay sellers no response but I will refund half the money but nothing received it was highly disappointing I have stopped buying from eBay after this experience it was a very bad experience near Christmas time as well and all these things were for my beautiful granddaughter”
“eBay Customer service neglected my complaint in regards to the bank account hack when money was taken out of my credit card account by this seller regardless of the proof of payment and the proof that my account was hacked. The money was not returned to me and my case was dismissed. I want to warn anybody linking their credit cards to eBay and then seeking help from the customer services.
The money back guarantee it's a lie. The seller possibly sent the package 10 days after. The tracking shows as delivered I didn't get any parcel, but eBay is not going to refund me the money, because I don't have proof that it was not delivered.
The seller, whose name is, by the way, Leonardo Pantoja Munoz, a former student and lab assistant of Middlesex university, who had been expelled from his university for theft, scam and various other violations, used to steal rare and valuable books from his university library to sell them on eBay has been lying all the way providing eBay with fabricated evidence.
Despite the fact that the photo of the delivery proof on the delivery company website clearly shows that it was delivered somewhere else. I actually was talking with eBay customer service were very rude customer service assistant was yelling at me that they see that the package was delivered close to my house and that is good as proof of delivery, and he disconnected the call. eBay don't care about customers, and the money back guarantee does not exist. I don't recommend buying anything from a scammer like this colouring book thief of Middlesex university on eBay as you will lose a money just like I did because eBay is not safe .”

I just made account for selling for three times and three times it happened that my account got restricted and they declined my account. For third time I was frustrated and I contacted to the customer service to know that I might be doing something wrong, that they could help me which I not repeat and save my account. I contacted them and they called me back. The person was talking to me very rudely and his name I think was Lucy or something. “I have been with ebay since October 2004, mostly purchasing and occasionally selling. I had an issue with an item that I put up for sale, ebay initially went in favour of the purchaser, the sum involved wasn't a lot but I didn't feel that the outcome was fair. I asked for a call back and spoke to a customer service representative who sorted out my issue straight away, also explaining what had gone wrong. I don't usually write reviews but on this occasion I would like to say that communication is the key and when all circumstances are considered I feel that Ebay went above and beyond. “Completely ridiculous i bought in the past from my daughter account, few days ago my daughter opend a new account for me. Next day i got an email saying your account is restricted you have to contact us within 7 days otherwise it will be suspended. I called ebay and he asked me few questions then said sorry we will not be able to remove the restriction. When i asked for the reason he said we are not allowed to say that???? My god i couldn't believe this what is this of kind of behaviour? I told my daughter and she won't use ebay ever again either she was so surprised. We will keep it by temu with there amazing service, respect and unbelievable prices. “From my experience with eBay for many years I can only warn others to be very cautious, if you do use them I strongly advice not buying from a seller using Evri which is hard as eBay push sellers to use Evri. I have now cancelled my eBa and won’t be using eBay again for selling or buying. They have a system where you can no longer talk to anybody. If your parcel is marked as delivered by Evri neither eBay or Evri will help you. It’s a huge scam and could easily be resolved by strict punishment on drivers that are either putting parcels in bins and signing them as delivered to meet the unreasonable work load or they are stealing items. Either way I have zero trust in ebay and have found there customer support atrocious!!! BE WARNED THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IF MARKED DELIVERED”
