Most buyers only shop in ebay-official-packaging due to eBay vouchers. If you get a damaged or wrong item, they refund only what you paid—not the voucher value, which isn’t renewed. I asked for a replacement, and they even gave me return details, only to later admit they can’t replace anything—just refund £0.35 (my spend, excluding the voucher). Misleading and unfair. Why request returns if replacements aren’t possible?

Also biased towards a buyer for returns and just accept their word without any proof that there is a problem with their item meaning that you can end up giving the item away and paying for doing so.
