“Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Hartford Manchester CT
Horrible they didn’t even know I was with Expedia when checking in. They over charged me at $1410.00 verses $1271.45 when checking in. Then the day before checking out they ran my card AGAIN for $180.00, $960.00, and $1111.00. On the day of checking out they TRIED to run my card AGAIN for $1,091.45 AND tried to tell me they haven’t been paid and I owe $1,271.45. Not only did they over charge me and owe me $2,389.00+ but they refuse to check me out so the bank releases the holds of at least 3 transfers they have pending on money in my account. The manager REFUSED to tell me the amount of each swipe they attempted and have completed on my card/account and hung up in my face HE ALSO ALLOWED HIS FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE TO LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF ALL OF THE HOTELS DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS FOR ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS WHICH IS SO INCREDIBLY A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY and that’s because he tried showing me ANOTHER incorrect explanation to their countless swipes on my card while I was getting into my uber to leave. Needless to say Marriott now has an open case on them to investigate and to this very moment they have STILL not released the holds on my money that they have NO right to. I will NEVER go there again and I fully intend to hold each employee including the manager accountable for their part in this theft and crime!!!!!! I also intend to post their documentation they gave me so their other customers are aware their privacy was violated!!!”
“This hotel has amazing and helpful front desk staff. The property is modern and beautiful, the location is very desirable and close to transportation. The Lantern Room restaurant, located inside the hotel has wonderful food and drink at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.”
