“Alan Evans tutored some of my students. At first he appeared to be an okay tutor, but then he started to let students down and miss lessons without any notice or explanation. The clients and students were extremely unhappy with him and his behaviour.
He then signed up to my tutoring platform. He accepted the Terms and Conditions on the website, which had to be accepted by him in order for his profile to be approved and appear on the website. The terms very clearly state that it is not permitted to exchange any contact details, and that all messaging must only be conducted on the website. They also state that all lessons must always only be booked and paid for on the website. He brazenly breached the Terms, wrote out his name, and told the client to contact him away from the website.
When we told him he had to pay the fees that he had agreed to, he became very unpleasant, saying in an email - Oh go away, and Good luck with that.
He then chose to write a very nasty, unfair and untrue review about me online.
Not a nice person at all, and not to be trusted”
“Alan started off okay, but soon proved to be extremely unreliable and unprofessional, not turning up for lessons, and not even giving any reason or notice for his absence. He also did not apologise. He did not reply to any messages or emails. There was no explanation whatsoever.
Do not be fooled by his apparent friendliness when you first talk with him.
If I could give a minus score, I would. A tutor to be avoided.”
