“Absolutely terrible customer service! i.e. they are not responding in their own website portal, but choosing to ignore me and stay in total silence when I made this request:
This product was advertised as compatible with BMW E39 535i. A professional garage has confirmed the shocks are physically too short and cannot be installed safely.
Therefore the item is not fit for purpose under UK consumer law. I require a full refund.”
I purchased this product based on its advertised compatibility with BMW E39 models. My vehicle is a BMW E39 535i, and there was no clear indication at the point of sale that this model was excluded. A professional garage has inspected the parts and confirmed that the coilovers are physically too short and cannot be safely installed on my vehicle. Therefore, the product is not fit for purpose. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described and fit for their intended use. This issue is not related to a change of mind or the 30-day return policy, but a fundamental incompatibility. I would like to resolve this amicably and request a refund or suitable replacement. Please advise on the next steps.
I am following up on my previous message regarding order uk250824033432991. As explained, the coil over's supplied are not compatible with my BMW E39 535i and have been confirmed by a professional garage as being too short and not fit for purpose. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a remedy as the goods are not fit for purpose.
If I do not receive a response within 48 hours, I will proceed with a formal dispute through my payment provider. I would prefer to resolve this directly with you.”
“Horrible quality and worse customer service ..
Sent wrong part then offered a 15% refund and was told to sell the product to get my money back...
Note the product was UNOPENED.”
“Absolute, worst company I have ever dealt with. Save your money and order from partZila or another reputable company. They sent defective products that were not compatible with what I own, and refused to refund the full amount that I paid. It took over a month to get a They sent defective products that were not compatible with what I own, and refused to refund the full amount that I paid. It took over a month to get a partial refund. Save yourself the headache.”
“Awful,
First of all why is there a bracket for the sway bar links and not a real spot? The bracket will twist back around with car movement and slowly destroy your suspension.
EVEN IF the bracket system works (it DOESNT, DONT do this to your car) they only have ONE kind so while your passenger one is fine the Drivers side sway bar links bracket is on the wrong side causing it to rub with the tire.
The damper and rebound are on one setting which is never a good thing but you can get some decently done ones unfortunately none of the 24 clicks sets the damper and rebound perfectly together.
These weren't fitted to the correct car as the first time I installed them the back end was RAISED 3 MORE inches past OEM parts and didn't lower one bit. Had to wait a month for parts.
These are THE lowest tier coilovers you can get, YES the cheaper ones on that other site ACTUALLY WORK BETTER
(These were installed professionally TWICE) IF you ended up stuck with these I'd suggest getting your PERFECT height and using red threadlocker on the brackets, unfortunately you will have to take one apart and flip the bracket and it WONT be on the threads.”
“Shocking product, sub std coilovers that had a failure upon installation, contacted them and they asked me to pay freight from China and wait 21-30 days.. this is my daily vehicle, required to get me to and from work and pick up kids from school.. steering clear”
“Hi. I will cut long story short. I bought brand new set of coilovers with adjustable damping. After unboxing product i was quite impresse as set looked really good. Now, my car is Bmw e46, fitment and adjustment went really smooth (I own a garage so did the job on the ramp).
First impressions were amazing, spring rates felt good and damping adjustment really worked well for me.
To the point... im lucky to be alive, as after about 15 miles osf shock absorber decided to snap away from the part that slides into a hub, yes, snapped! (Incident took place at approx 70mph, damaging my wing, wheel arch, alloy wheel, front bumper...). I have had included some photos for you guys so you can avoid this type of situation. I will see professional advice to deal with this matter.”
