“hi Clockwork team, I would like to have 1 improvement and 1 new feature, Improvement: support all utf-8 characters including Chinese characters New feature: limited the text count, if the number of character exceed 160, put a "..." at the end of the message”

Hi, Thanks for your comments. It's always great to receive feedback and I'll pass this over to our development team to have a look at. In regards to limited characters, Clockwork allows you to send up to 459 characters (3 SMS) you can allow long messages by selecting this option in 'Sending' > 'Nuts & Bolts'. “The site looks and works great. There are heaps of API(s) to use, and examples for them. Text Messages arrive within seconds, of a successful request. However, my account was suspended for no reason, but it was cleared up just over 24 hours after, by a friendly support member.”

“Very simple to get setup in PHP. Easy to understand the prices. Could do with some more advanced features such as sending to multiple recipients, scheduling texts for the future, etc.”

“Great service! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, as of the time of this review, the Clockwork plugin is not yet compatible with the latest version of Contact Form 7, which cost us.”

“Useful to send a sms from a web application to a mobile. Easy to implement. The main problem is the lack of information about "Receiving", need to contact support to have more information, this is not the most convenient.”

“I've tried different systems of SMS service and this is the best one. Sms are sent immediately and it's possible to change the sender's name in a moment. Very, very affordable system!”

“Integrating the Clockwork sms api in a web application is truly easy. Documentation is complete and to the point. Response from support desk is quick. We use the api to send access codes in a 2 step verification to users logging in from an unknown computer. Although most messages reach their destination, some messages to a smaller Dutch virtual network operator were undeliverable. Can't tell yet if this was just a temporary problem or structural. Clockwork allows you to easily create additional API keys. Would be great if stats (and/or delivery receipts) could break down the usage per API key.”

“My need is to send SMS messages to a group of people daily and this demand covers Clockwork perfect. It works in the background without any interruptions. An email tells me when it is time to increase my credit. Simple and easy. Greeting Svein Sivertsen”

“We run a website for a set of restaurants in Dublin. As all the reservation bookings come through one reservations manager we needed a solution that would quickly identify when a booking came in via the site and email just wasn't working. This is were Clockwork came in. Clockwork's seamless integration into Wordpress ment we we're set up in minutes. Very simple and did exactly what it said on the tin. Clockwork also shows a monthly transactions report which allows us to see the peak times for bookings and gives us a great idea on customer patterns. I would highly recommend Clockwork for any business thinking of integrating a text messaging system into their website.”

“We were recommended to Clockwork by our web developers and have found it a straight forward procedure. Everything worked - first time with no hassle. The system seems to work well and I am sure it will be an valuable asset for us. Unlike other service providers Clockwork accept a range of payments - we choose Paypal as our preferred method of payment as we are assure of security.”
