High priced for rubbish leads. The sales staff are lovely, but I was promised 10 quality exclusive leads which i did not receive in month 1 or month 2 (so I cancelled) Their account manager Claudia is absolutely fantastic, but that doesn't change the fact that the leads are absolute rubbish for the price ($180 each) 2 of the leads I contacted were already in a contract with someone. 2 of them had budgets of under 1000 for a full website design and development (I custom design sites, so that is just not possible) most of them dont even bother to reply no matter how many times you call, email etc. they also dont share how they got the leads, so you feel a bit strange contacting them when you dont know how meet hugo got the lead or who they spoke to etc. save your money, go to BARK.

Absolute con artists. Scour the internet and pass off the opportunities as their own then they take the money from your credit card

Meet Hugo is a name used by Clarity Stack for one of their lead generation businesses. I believe MeetHugo is a scam. No meaningful leads, nothing like what they promise you and they take money without permission. Do not give them your credit card number over the phone. I believe they are scammers. Meet Hugo are scammers.

Stay far away from this company. 1 - The quality of the leads is extremely poor. It is basically a very expensive crunchbase 2 - They will send you an invoice, ask you to pay by phone so they can save your card details and take money from your bank account when your contract is finished. Then they will bully you and tell you that you agreed to their T&C (Which is untrue) and that they are here to help you... Basically, one of the best scam I have ever encountered!

For all people who are interested in trying meet hugo - don't waste your time Don't waste your money Don't get involved with them unless you enjoy being serviced improperly and misled. Some notes on their actual service: salesperson misrepresented the service before we bought They don't provide me with their own quota for leads, even though it should be very easy considering the leads are trash 95% of the leads are garbage - "buying signals". Basically drip-feeding you "leads" that constitute only contact info of companies that received funding rounds. (Which I get hundreds of with a crunchbase subscription - ie "we think" this company might need a video... theses people are NOT happy when you email them" Many of the leads are duplicates.... like how is this a problem they are having. it got so bad I think that quarter /half of them are duplicates... like... Youre charging me $800 for 3 months and you can't even fill the quota of leads per week.... even by sending duplicate leads at a ratio of 25%-40%? All good reviews online are people with no profile and fake - all the bad reviews appear real. Very few REAL people online enjoyed the service, anyone who posted a good review doesn't even have a profile pic.. If you got an email saying there's a 100k marketing project, or 20k video project - it doesn't exist. During my 3 month trial, not once did I see a good lead that justified the service. People are not happy when you email them - they don't know about meethugo and basically their contact info is being scraped off the internet. Support team not helpful and rude. Conclusion: these guys reel you in with an invite for a non-existent project, then you find out the leads a trash and services is riddled with problems and they're asking 2800 a year or something like that. Besides that, since most leads are just "buying signals" you can get almost everything meethugo offers with a crunchbase subscription - except you get thousands... not 12 per month. CrunchBase is $300 per year and provides thousands of "buying signal" (low quality) leads - meet hugo is $2800 and gives you 12 low quality leads per month. Just buy crunchbase - it's worth like 100 million USD in meethugo subscrptions.... this service is complete and utter garbage.

Inflexible punitive customer service approach. Meet Hugo didn't deliver on what they agreed, then refused to give a refund or to offer an apology and have taken no responsibility for their failure to do what they said they would. I would recommend you stay as far away from this company as you can. I agreed to trial the platform for 3 months for £309. They agreed IF I wanted to continue after that, they would ensure I got 12 months for £894 less what I paid. From MH email "I’m more than happy to do that, I’ll make note on our system to provide you with the discount at the end of the quarter. Consider this email as a formal confirmation you can have the annual at £894 - £309 after the 3 months if you wish to go forward on this plan." THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME TO CHECK IF I WANTED TO CONTINUE. THEY ALSO NEVER APPLIED THE DISCOUNT. I WAS PUT ONTO A QUARTERLY ROLLING SUBSCRIPTION AT £309 PLUS VAT A QUARTER. There are many bad reviews, there is a pattern, stay away.
