“I recently purchased a Melbourne Watch Company Burnley with a black dial. It is quite simply superb. I was really attracted to the integrated bracelet, which was clearly inspired by other iconic designs, so I decided to give the brand a try. I also wanted to support a local company. It has now become one of my favourite watches. I was surprised by the quality of the watch. The build is excellent and feels like a watch that's a few grades higher. The Miyota watch movement used has even been giving me an average of -2.6 s/d! The materials used also feels luxurious, quite unexpected based on the price. The only negative I can find is with the sapphire crystal. The coating used on it seems to have a slight blue sheen. It would complement a blue dial but detracts from the beauty of the black dial a little. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with the Burnley. I'm definitely going to be following the company to see what they release in the future.”

“When you refuse to rotate a watch collection after purchasing a Portsea Calendar, it tells you something about that watch. The absolute uniqueness and appeal of this watch is hard to explain except to say,"Try one on for size and you will understand!" The ceramic layered dials are amazing and the thin blue hands really play in the light to further enhance its overall appeal. At 40mm it wears comfortably on the wrist with not too much "out there" presence. Accuracy was a real surprise with my watch coming in at +/- 1.5 secs per day, a tribute to the choice of Miyota movements for this watch. My only gripe is that it does not have the option of a steel bracelet such as a Jubilee, or similar, however the leather band is of very good quality and very comfortable....I totally love this timepiece. I am more than pleased with the watch and with the comprehensive service of the Melbourne Watch Company. Thank you for a fantastic product.”
