“I initially wanted to purchase via the Essex outlet as I live in Suffolk..no postal services..collection only.
So i sent my order that was forwarded to head office that was closed for the Christmas period..then i chased..told sorry..over 200 e-mails and they hadnt reached mine..in fairness they pulled mine out and i paid the higher courier charge so I could use for our next shoot..didnt arrive in time..then they had sent the wrong item..they admit thie fault..they sent a pre-paid postage..so i dropped off at the post office.
They will not despatch the correct item i Ordered until they receive their incorrect item back.
I complained..then they said ..sorry..they forgot to mention that if i showered proof of postage receipt they would send..
I explained the post office just took the parcel and scanned but did not provide proof of postage.
Merlin again say..they cannot send without proof of purchase...even thought this is their mistake.
So no I have informed Merlin to arrange a refund and I will purchase elsewhere.
I must agree with the low review ratings on my experiance.
Just a note that when I mentioned this parlavour to some of my club members ..they agreed..poor service and response”
