“What a beautiful little family-owned zoo!
We went here just in passing to kill an hour as it was only very small.
We couldn't believe how lovely it was and stayed there all afternoon. They have lots of exotic animals from Racoons and Coatis to Emu's and Wallabies, all of which are so friendly you're encouraged to stroke them if they approach you.
The staff are amazing, happy and friendly and will walk around with you explaining all about the animals as you go. Where they are from (many are rescued) and all about their environment in the wild.
There is a small tea room for a snack in between your animal exploits. It serves hot and cold drinks and the usual sandwiches, panini's and jacket potatoes but also some amazing homemade (by the owner) cakes.
Then before you go, there is also a small gift shop with lots of personalised (of the animals in the zoo) gifts for a memento.
All in all, a really great day out and highly recommended, we will be going back many times to watch the progress of the animals and the team.”
