Rubbish Service from the after sales warranty team The battery on my surface book2 broke after a couple of years. ( just outside my warranty). i then purchased a new computer via the warranty program but this came with only a 3 month warranty. in month four the same battery problem arose and microsoft only offer to buy a new computer with no desire to fix it. so in a nutsell: terrible battery life on Surface book2 and even worse client service

This site is horrible. I bought a $5 app and can't download it without using a Microsoft account. Who thought of this? Also, the need to use the Microsoft Authenticator for everthing is another horrible idea. This whole experience is going to cost way more than the $5 spent for the app. I'm going to do my best to never buy another app from the Microsoft Store!!!

Absolutely horrendous from start to finish!! They took my money for an xbox game upgrade (MK11) then 2 months later, all the features I paid for disappeared! THEN they come back with the line that the refund period had expired, as if that's even remotely relevant!! They don't listen, the agents on the phone are too thick to understand the concept of theft and they just copy and paste the same email reply over and over. I'm getting rid of my xbox and anything to do with microsoft, total bunch of money thieving cowboys!!!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM MICROSOFT STORE AS IT IS HEFTY AND STALLS IF YOU USE A LAPTOP. YOU'RE BETTER OFF GETTING THE INSTALLATION FILE OF WHAT YOU WANT FROM FILEHIPPO OR OTHER SITES LIKE SOFTPEDIA, THESE WON'T OVERLOAD YOUR LAPTOP AND WILL INSTALL PERFECTLY AS LONG AS YOU UNTICK OR DECLINE ANY ADVERT OPTIONS. YOU MAY NEED TO FIND THE SETTIG IN YOYR LAPTOO 'INSTALL FROM OTHER SOURCE OTHER THAN MICROSOFT' TO ENABLE YOUR PROGRAM TO DOWNLOAD. OTHERWISE YOU QILL SEE ON A BLUE SCREEN :( YOUR PC RAN INTO A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO RESTART, YOU WILL THEN HAVE TO RESTART/REFRESH YOUR BROWSER AFTER LOG ON.

Bought Minecraft. 2 different versions, incompatible with each other. No refunds. Terrible experience. Turned a fun night with friends into a nightmare, Microsoft version of game horrendous. Do yourself a favor and never use M Microsoft store or services again.

Worst business ever I did business with. Purchasing a cell phone from the store on July 19th received a phone with a defect in the screen, returned it the 23rd of the same month they did not have a stoke for exchange I asked them to cancel the order they told me we can not cancel the order I have to wait till the 4th of Aug to receive a replacement. Once received I could cancel the order. I purchased a phone somewhere else. They ended up still sending me the exchange phone. on the 4th I kept arguing with them to send me the return label to return the phone everytime a new excuse the they can not do it the supervisor is on leave etc.... finally sent the return label the 14th I returned the phone till now no refund. Returned phone received by them the 14th we are the 25th of Aug and no refund yet. It is really a disgusting business

idk whos is in charge of the microsoft store, but my god it is the most sorry excuse for a multi app platform ever. How do you guys go and do even worse then Epic Games? Please just pay your employees and fix it.

Purchased in-game content from the store. Kept checking with support since the content never showed. Support stated that I should get a refund, but refund departments denied my refund and said I was SOL that it didn't appear in my game. In the long run, Microsoft Store took my money for goods that were never given then refused to give my money back when even their support could see that I never accessed the content. Never will spend money through them again.

The most horrible customer experience I have ever had. Just hope you never have to deal with them. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. I bought a laptop 2 months ago and received a defectuous one. I sent it back for an exchange and I keep getting a different answer each time I phone. No we cannot exchange it, you will receive a refund and no it will be an exchange instead and the escalation team hasn't decided yet whether it will be an exchange or a refund. Yet 2 months later, I am still waiting and hoping they will at least give me my money back. Just wished I never dealt with these people in the first place

Made two failed attempts to purchase merchandise from this company (yes I was foolish enough to give them another shot). First time I placed it online, item shipped money deducted then when I went to track item UPS informed me that Microsoft requested that the item be returned to the store(guess somebody more “important”needed more than I did) no email no call no explanation no nothing. Now I had to wait a whole week to get a refund. Foolishly decided to give them another shot. This time called over the phone and place the order everything goes great money already deducted. Few hours later order cancelled. Yup. That’s the hilarious part. Rep says too many declined payments making it suspicious WHAT!! The Money came out instantly with the rep over the phone!!!! These ppl are jokes. Scammers!!! There will not be a third chance.

Pleasant enough until they get your money and then useless. My new laptop bugged out after about a week and a half, no worries that happens. Then: 1. They tried to tell me I would have to pay postage to return the item 2. I've spent hours talking to technical support trying to see where the item was. 3. After around my 5th session with customer support they are telling me it will take 3-5 business days before they will send out my exchange, this is a day after they have received my item. 4. Customer service have kept me waiting for over an hour at times, once not even coming back to me. I'm not usually one to do reviews, but given the amount of money this huge company is saving through primarily selling online rather than high street rents I would expect them to be able to handle a simple return. I and a lot of other people depend on their computers for a living and the nonchalant responses from support give the impression that this is the norm. I never thought I could be a mac person but given this + built in tracking and advertising in windows I am finally ready

Games usually very poor quality, updates inexplicably vanished for messenger which i cannot now use. Phone prompted me to download updates for 42 apps, still running 14 days later, at 62mb per day at best. Often much worse, Uprated phone to windows 10, performance since then very poor, cannot run or access games that should run on windows 10. Going back to android, best policy I think. Its astonishing this company has customers at all

No way to contact them when an expensive order is not received, no one replied to my many emails and UPS tracking still has label generated as the only progress after 3 months!! No number to ring them either. Guess I have to right off the money and buy Microsoft products from elsewhere.

Order placed 29th Dec 2017, still not delivered!!!! Ups won't tell me what they reported to Microsoft about non delivery, and website useless as no way to cancel the order as Microsoft says its in transit!!! I want a refund or my item delivered!!!!! No way to email or speak to a human being!!! I love my surface Pro but I regret trying to buy a replacement pen directly from Microsoft. So sad has put me off the company completely. An expensive mistake. Guess I'll have to spend more money and buy another pen from a reliable company!!!!

Placed an order on the Saturday for a Surface Book 2 and accessories, expedited delivery (extra £10). Order still showing as pending on Tuesday. Customer support dont have a clue what is happening and tell me it will take 5 days to escalate and get a response, even though if I was a brand new customer ordering before 11am I would get it shipped same day. I received the accessories Tuesday so I have a pen and a docking station but no laptop and they still dont have a clue when it will arrive

First time of my life I wrote any review, but that's need to be shared. I could have order this device for many retailers but I though wrongly that Microsoft was trustful. I order my tablet since days and the tablet isn't even dispatched - though they reserved the money of my bank account. The customer service was so unfriendly although I didn't complain at all and just wondered if I could hope to receive it and if yes, when 'more and less' (I kindly asked). The customer agent was very upset that I called a second times even my case was already 'escalated'. We will see if I get it and how is this device is worth this rude experience but well... never more.

They sell pirated software. Bought Corel Draw X8 and Corel have flagged the key as pirated.
