“I made the terrible mistake of inviting this so called “ hairdresser" named Motunrayo Jaiyesimi into my home to do goddess braids, and I regret every second of it. First of all, she showed up late with no apology, dragging her unprofessional attitude in the door like she was doing me a favor. Once she finally started, I quickly realized she had no idea what she was doing.
The braids were sloppy, uneven, and NOTHING like what l asked for.
She pulled my hair so tight that I was in pain the entire time, and when I mentioned it, she brushed it off like I was being dramatic. By the time she was done (which felt like an eternity), I was horrified to see that the"goddess braids" looked more like a halfhearted attempt at a bird's nest. The parts were crooked, the ends were already frizzy, and some of the braids were coming loose before she even left my house.
To top it off, she left a mess of hair and supplies all over my floor! I had to clean up after her like she wasn't even a guest in my own home. This was an absolute waste of money and time. If you're thinking about hiring her, save yourself the nightmare and find someone who actually knows what they're doing! Total disaster.
She also has incredible body odour which is appalling to know you can go around smelling like this and expect clients to sit there and inhale it.
She also swore infront of my children and didn’t use the full pack of curly I have her even though she was complaining it wasn’t enough.
When I raised my concerns to MAHB and gave a review there they deleted my review and pretended they didn’t do it. Very unprofessional people.”

Used this scam company on 17th December 2021. I had box braids. Within two weeks the long waist length braids began to fall out from what they call is a reputable, reknowned hair dresser! The reviews must be a lie. The DO NOT BE DECEIVED PEOPLE!
Their complaints policy does not exits.
I paid £100 of my hard earned money for what was essentially a below par service.
The refund policy? Non existent.
A disgraceful unprofessional company who are quite frankly a bunch of amateur con artists who have no comprehension of the phrase 'customer service'.
If you are unfortunate to be scammed by them, then please contact your bank and notify them of your experience. Hopefully the more people who complain and highlight these rogues will draw attention to the authorities so as intermediaries are of low level deceptions.
As any knowledgeable person knows..... when you have Ghana braids, or any form of box braids, they should last 2 months. Mine lasted 2 weeks and I have already had friends attempt to re-braid the braids that have unfortunately fallen out.
I think it is important that people place their reviews of this company, highlighting on various social media platforms what these rogues, scam artists are all about.
MAHB, this is the UK and we have rights! Please be aware of this. Customers are NOT fools.
MAHB aka Mobile Afro Hairdressers are a complete con.
Whilst they may have good hairdressers, I can only comment on Florence who did not do my hair to high standard despite MAHB praising her. I can only go from MY EXPERIENCE, which brings their company website reviews into deep question.
1. When a hairdresser comes to your home, they should clean up their own mess and not throw extensions on your living room floor
2. I thought I was supporting the organisation and when encouraged to place a review (nnote: immediately after doing my, which I cordially di). Unbeknowst to me, I indeed made a great faux par, it was a irrational premature action on my behalf.
3. The hair looked nice once done
4. A few days LATTER the braids began to fall out
5. It took between 6-7 hours for the braids to be done in the first place of which people latter told me was actually too long.
I am so angry and disgusted with their treatment.
In response, I have liaised with the bank as the service I paid for was NOT done. African braids should last more than six weeks and braids should NOT be falling out within a few days. It was my intention that this style would last for Christmas.
I sent the company photos of my fallen out braids as evidence which fell on deaf ears.
