“Conmen, pure and simple. On 16 March 2020 I ordered a kit from them for delivery to Bulgaria. I paid by PayPal. They sent me an email saying the kit had been despatched. The message did not staate who it was sent via (courier, postal service, etc) and had no tracking number, but I didn't let that trouble me.
The Covid-19 crisis which began in earnest at the time of my order halted postal services between the UK and Bulgaria for two months. (I should state that the British and Bulgarian postal services have been impeccable and very fast over the 24 years I have used them. Never any loss, rarely has an item taken longer than 7 days to arrive.)
In early June, however, I began receiving items from the UK by post. On 9 June I emailed Model Hobbies asking for details about my kit.
Utter silence.
On 12 June I repeated the email query.
Utter silence.
I tried telephoning.
Utter silence.
And no kit...
I am now launching a PayPal dispute but expect little.
