I ordered a basket for my fathers 94th birthday which did not arrive on his birthday and has still not arrived . This was the email I got from the company when I sent enquired about it We're very sorry to hear that your order did not arrive on your preferred delivery date. We do, however, wish to take this opportunity to clarify that the shipping method selected indicates a typical delivery timeframe—not a guaranteed one. As outlined in our delivery policies, this means that while we make every effort to align with requested delivery dates, unforeseen circumstances may result in the order arriving slightly earlier or later than expected. Unfortunately, such delays are beyond our direct control and often difficult to anticipate. As noted in our FAQs and terms and conditions, “We are under no obligation to refund or credit a customer for any delay, non-delivery, misdelivery or failure to perform, caused by events beyond our control, including... disruptions in air or ground transportation networks.” We understand how disappointing delays can be and truly regret any inconvenience caused. We appreciate your understanding and thank you again for your patience. Very disappointing experience and strongly not recommending Montreal Baskets. This was meant to be something special for my daughter’s first Easter away at university, yet the basket delivered was completely different from what was ordered. I ordered a “Pink Easter Bunny Gift Basket” and received no bunny at al, just a grey bear, and several items I selected were replaced (including pretzels swapped for peanuts). I understand small substitutions, but this was not a minor change…the main item and theme were not respected. If the bunny is unavailable, the product should not be sold under that name, or customers should be informed in advance. Peanuts were also substituted without notice, which raises basic duty of care concerns when it comes to food items. Customer service refused any refund, hiding behind their substitution policy with no acknowledgment of the issue. For the price paid, this is not acceptable and feels misleading. Buyers should be aware that what you receive may not match what is advertised.

What was received was vastly different then what I purchased. I understand their was substations allowed of equal or greater value but this was not the case! Artisan crackers were replaced with Breton crackers, there was Doritos in the basket (to replace what? who knows). The 2x high end chocolate bars I paid extra for weren't included at all and there was no plush at all. When I complained to the company they said this was legitimate and no refund would be provided. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Very thankful! It was a surprise for my childhood friend. They were so happy that they shared the images of the baskets among others and were very happy. Thank you So much.
