“I had a great experience with my mortgage advisor from start to finish. They were polite, professional, and very clear, which made the whole process much less stressful. What I really appreciated was how honest and trustworthy they were — no pressure, no hidden agendas. They took the time to understand my situation and made me feel believed in as a person, not just a number. Thanks to their support, I successfully bought my share of the home. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely supportive mortgage advisor.”

“We had the pleasure of having Kerry McGirr as our mortgage advisor, from the first day we couldn't have asked for someone more helpful. Kerry worked around us making sure she was available on weekends or after work to help us with the mortgage process. As a first time buyer Kerry helped with any question we had and as the first professional we had spoken to made us as relaxed as possible. Kerry had a day away from work and made sure we were looked after by Louise Steen who was also very helpful in this process making sure all of our documents were uploaded and up to date. We couldn't have asked for better people to help us through this stressful process!”

“Urvi Shah has been absolutely outstanding throughout the whole process. Went through several properties until finally deciding on the perfect one for which Urvi swiftly secured the best rate mortgage possible. Supportive and always a call or text away when inquiries needed to be made or anything that arose during the process. We’ve dealt with brokers before and hand on heart will say, no one came close to Urvi’s level of service. Outstanding!”

“Natasha helped with our initial mortgage with NatWest in 2022. It was the first time we had to combine more than one mortgage account for a single property. But her reassurances that she will rearrange a new mortgage at the end of the one we ported, gave us confidence to proceed. Two years after, she seem less Ly arranged the new mortgage with NatWest, just before the rates increased! Thank you so much Natasha!”

“I would not recommend this broker. There were issues from the outset with the shared ownership eligibility process, a call took place but nothing was followed through, and it was only after multiple chases from myself and even the sales advisor that the process was restarted. Despite being promised communication would improve which I believed to be true after an initial phone call and emails stating the relevant team member was no longer at the company, this did not happen. There was no joined-up communication between the broker and the lender, the lender confirmed information had been passed across, yet it was never relayed to me. During staff annual leave there was no cover or communication, which was particularly concerning when I was waiting on updates. I also received calls intended for other customers. Overall, the process felt disorganised and unprofessional.”

“I had a great experience with Mortgage Light. Being a first time buyer and buying on a Shared Ownership scheme turns everything into a bespoke process where there is no script to follow and every step can be as easy or as complicated as you can think of. Luckily Natasha and her team were always there to help me overcome the hurdles as they came along (and we hit a few odd ones too). Since the pre-assessment phone call until when the formal Mortgage Offer was secured, I always felt that I could trust Natasha and the Mortgage Light team to get things done and provide me with expert advice, explanations and guidance clearing all my doubts and questions.”
