Please don’t not buy from motorhog there salvage cars are nothing like the pictures they hide alot please avoid.

gavin Lonsdale get with the programme the do sell scrap cars and say there from dealer disposal and ban customers accounts when the conplain for not receiving there items and take photos so you cant see airbags af gone off had 40 pound to cars for yard fee what the f..k is yard fee keep hold of keys then email you to say we af keys so the can charge you 10 pound good money for nothing and premium rate phone lines

gavin Lonsdale g et with the programe its about peoples accounts being banned because the conplain about not receiving there items amongst other things like shill bidding taking piture so you cant see air bags gone off part missin people just want honesty don't tell me I can go look at car you would spend most of week running up and down motorway lets face the do sell scrap cars and say there from dealers

I have recently purchased a Transit connect from your auction

The vehicle was categorized as a category N (Non structure damage)

I sent a 3rd party to collect the vehicle for me and bring it too my home for repair, on further inspection of stripping the vehicle i have found both front chassis legs to be bent and the crash bar to have split from the spot welds, being someone who is a qualified vehicle body repairer, i find it hard to believe this is not structural damage, this vehicle was either categorised incorrectly by the insurance company or on your website when the listing was placed. 

I have had advice from trading standards to put this in writing, as this cleary has been categorized incorrectly and is a dangerous vehicle to be listing as non structural damage, the crumble points on the inner legs will have already been weakened if another accident was to happen, the crumble points will fail. 

I would like to know, what you intend to do about this vehicle. as i bought this van with the intent to repair and use, I bidded a fair amount for a transit connect trend with only non structural damage, the undisclosed damage will require specialist tools to repair at an excessive amount. 

I would like a refund on this van and i will return it, as i find this van was dangerously wrongly categorized

Ordered a Honda civic gearbox.i was quoted a price that was cheaper than everyone else.i paid via a bank transfer.2 days later I got a text message to say that the part was damaged and that I would be fully refunded as they didn't have any more parts in stock.a few days later, using a different name and mobile number I rang again only to be told that the part I needed was in stock.only problem was that it was a £100 dearer.i asked the telesales girl for the donor vehicle registration number so that I could check with the dealers to see if the gearbox was compatible with my my utter amazement it was the same registration number which was provided on the previous occasion.just because someone quoted less the first time, and the company realised their mistake then the easiest thing is to tell the customer the part is damaged.what a shame that such a big company plays dirty tricks.

Think it's a joke they bump up the prices and the discription is a disgrace what a poor company to deal with should be reported to the authorities in my opinion

I contacted this company last week to enquire about my account and the person I spoke to was very rude and shouted at me. She wouldn’t help me sort out my account and said I had to email instead even though the email stated I needed to call.
I would not recommend this company as the whole service is shocking. Stay away

Told me starts and drive ,
When got it delivered would not start ,had it checked engine was seized and turbo was missing ,called them was on h9ld for a long time eventually got through and Told me to call head office in Doncaster Same again 25 minutes on hOld then spoke to a lady very rude and and said nothing they could do about it

It actually bores me to see all these bad reviews, in this day and age everyone wants a bargain car that is 100% fault free but at trade money. All the wannabe car traders on here need to do their homework before bidding, you can check a cars mot history online to give you an idea of the condition of the car, yes, I have been stung occasionally but you bid at a price allowing for the worse case scenario, if you can't do that then go and buy at a retail site.

Beware. !!! I bought a jaguar from the hull site...description was a joke...11 months mot. Starts and drives. Looked lovely on the photos.. when it was delivered the car wouldn't start.. the drivers side window had been down for weeks and it was wet through inside..the tyres were flat.. all the tyres were illegal.. engine management light was on.....UNBELIEVABLE.... .

I had a very poor experience with Motorhog bought a vehicles discription said it start and drives. Pick it up via recovery was not starting. Took to the garage put a new battery still did not drive apparently alternator was also gone. Call customer services was was on hold nearly 30 minutes but once through absolutely shocked the way lady spoke with me and hang on me without listening to me within few seconds. Ironically when I was on hold cheesy advert were going on about how brilliant and customer focus they are. What a shampolic experience. I would ask everyone to stay away from them 😭😭😭

Best price by far,friendly efficient service, needed a wing mirror for my Hyundai i30,dealer comedy price £450, well done Motorhog £72 all in ,and even gave advise on fitting, will use again.

sorry to say such company exists in 2018 total bunch of counts ,, sold me a vehicle on wrong number plates 2 years older than stated ,, trades descriptions anyone ? notwithstanding,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Called motor hog let them know I wanted a part text back with part cost etc got part it happened to be faulty rang back replaced it next day got me some other parts while I was there helped with parts to car staff front of desk and phone staff most helpful couldn’t do enough for me breath of fresh air will use you again and recommend you to anybody thank you

Ordered through gateway parts contact failed send button blanked out ordered a bonnet for my Peugeot 206 £98 but bonnets is £40 to save fees I think and postage Is £50 and vat £13 then I was told last week I might get it this Thursday if I am lucky .I phoned Doncaster motor hog on 01302 and was told it was an eBay job it was not still waiting for the bonnet no contact now ..I will never use gateway parts or motor hog ever again .just go else where avoid the problems and long wait others can and are doing better .ex jaguar mechanic in 1970's Barnsley
