BEWARE, THERE IS NO AFTER SALE SERVICE. ONCE YOU HAND OVER THE MONEY, THATS IT. I purchased a Motorhome via "Tara Knowles" at Motorhome Depot. Firstly it took two weeks and many messages before I finally got a reply from her. Eventually she made contact and we viewed and agreed to purchase the Motorhome. On collection we found that the reversing camera, which was one of the features highlighted in the Motorhome listing, did not work, so we noted this on the handover document. That was our mistake... It is Motorhome policy that if a fault is found and you note it on the handover, then continue with the purchase, that's your fault and tough luck. They expect you to cancel the sale or negotiate a repair before you buy the Motorhome and will not entertain any idea of paying for the repair once the sale is completed. They take a 10% cut from the sale price and received £5,000 commission from this sale, but refuse outright to pay the small cost to repair the camera. I am now forced to make a claim via the small claims court to cover the cost of repair. My recommendation, go through a dealership, at least you will get a after sales service.

I bought my Cheyenne from paul andrews a broker in burton on trent what a total bum the guy is, i told him the 1st day that i got it home about the problems it had etc he just fobbed me off because i was so far away its cost thousands to get it right, I would never recomend this company or this dealer to buy or sell anything absolutely useless, motorhomedepot con artists look elsewhere

Worst company to deal with if selling your motorhome. I asked for the vehicle to be sold at £19995 which was agreed in writing. I checked the following day when the advert went up and it was £21,995. I questioned them and they said it was to make me more money. This isn't true, firstly they never even told me and secondly the agreement states the amount you get and they take the rest, so any more they make will go into their account not yours. My vehicle still had 4 months mot and 6 months hab service which they redone once a buyer was found. They informed me that they had accepted a deposit and the new owners will be picking the vehicle up the following saturday. There was no mention of any issues with the vehicle at this point. The following saturday 2 hours before the vehicle was due to be picked up they rang me to say i had to pay £212 for work carried out on the hab check and mot. This motorhome had passed its last 2 mots with no advisories yet somehow it had excessive corrosion that needed repair. along with windscreen wipers not working properly and they also found issues with leaking taps, dampness and a boiler issue. This was all sound only a few months ago and the vehicle had only travellled 115 miles since its last mot. A very dubiously run company and i would not recommend to my worst enemies. The motorhome depot i dealt with was the one in reading working from the same yard as STJ sales. If you want what your motorhome is worth do not use motorhome depot, they are a rip off

My sale was handled by broker Kevin McMaw from the Harrogate depot. Good communications and the sale was done very swiftly. Highly recommend

I had a very poor experience with Motorhomedepot. The local agent just wanted to get my motorhome from me into his yard. He was useless at writing a description and the photos were blurred and dark. Most worryingly whilst we had agreed a commission fee when the sale had gone through he demanded £1000 more.
