Thanks very much for the feedback, Joanne.
The Choralex Compact’s curved right pocket is attached at the expanding side and at the base, so loose sheets can shift inward if they’re tucked there. Since the folder is designed to hold music securely using the optional 3‑ring adaptor (if you use hole‑punched scores) and the included cords (10, or an optional 20 if you prefer), you don’t need to rely on that side pocket for extra pages. All of your music can be fastened within the folder so nothing moves around.
If you prefer pockets that fully enclose loose sheets, our Deluxe and Standard Black Folders have three‑sided, pleated pockets. They’re a bit larger and slightly heavier because of that construction, but they prevent the sliding you described.
The Choralex was designed to prioritize light weight, durability, and the essential features singers need in performance, and your feedback helps everyone here, researching the best choice of folder for their needs.
