“Hip showed vehicle had possible finance outstanding and had to phone my car check to confirm, but office was closed. Vehicle was a salvage vehicle so should have no outstanding finance and a check with another company proved this”

“The service was exceptional and I was able to find the details I was after, as far as I know the only thing that didn't appeal to me was the prices, however they gave me what I asked for and it was reasonably quick”

“it would help if someone could answer me a question about a finance on a certian car i have put a deposit on,what i am trying to say i paid for the gold package,was asked to phone your call centre,which i did,always being asked to wait to speak to a advisor,then being cut off,this happened all day,is that it take peoples money and dont give them the service, you say you give”

“£9.99 for this review is an absolute rip off. Not at all like the preview I looked at and didn't even have any prices stated in it. I will be advising Honest John to take this off his web site or it will endanger his reputation and credibility. Very poor indeed!!”

“I nearly bought 2 cars this week, and changed my mind after getting a My Car Check. I checked both cars MOT history on the Gov MOT website and both looked good. But when I looked at the My Car Check one had a really odd discrepancy on the mileage, and the other turned out to be a Category D (which I was not told and did not show up on the Gov MOT website. So although both cars looked really good before the My Car Check, neither were suitable afterwards. Seeing I was going to spend quite a lot of money, I was seriously relieved. So well worth the cost of a My Car Check.”

“Wasn't best when I had to call to ask about the details stating the car had outstanding finance to find it didn't have and said was ok to buy .... Nearly lost me the purchase”

“The car I checked showed as having a finance caution , but not who the finance company was . When I rang my car check , they were helpful and provided the info I needed , wouldn't it be better to list the finance companies details with the check ? Otherwise very good .”
