“Both reviews were positive and I followed up and purchased both vehicles. The additional information provided by the mycarcheck was useful to know. It was well worth the money to avoid any one of a number of possible pitfalls. Private buyers should ask themselves why do traders always do these checks before buying a car themselves? My only suggestion would be to make the process of enabling the second car check, when a multiple check has been purchased, more easier to find on the the site. It took me a while to realise where to go.”

“Paid for Platinum however the additional products were not available for the car purchased due to the age. A quick call to Richard in customer services he resolved the issue and reduced back down to the Gold service. The piece of mind given and information received is fantastic I will definitely use the service again and recommend if in the market for a private used car, given it is such a low fee.”

“Found this site online and decided to do the cheapest search costing only a couple of pounds. The report was generated instantly on the screen and a copy sent via Email. As the car I was looking at was only cheap was not concerned about outstanding finance which would have been included on the more expensive report. The report showed the car I was querying had been an insurance write off and had changed owner within the last month (this contradicted everything the owner stated about the vehicle). Would highly recommend using this service, I will use again in the future as saved me from buying a lemon.”

“Excellent help and advice on car purchase. Would highly recommend to anyone, even if buying from main dealer! As car sold by a main dealer turned out to still have outstanding finance on it and l would not have known if l hadn't checked. Turned out to be human error, but could have been a costly error to me.”

“Very good phone support to help with my question. Great value for money when buying 4 of the premium data checks. Used it for potential purchase of a motorbike. It worked very effectively for me. Seller in Leeds had failed to disclose that bike was on finance, so that's money well spent. Imagine if I'd bought the bike with finance outstanding - and wasted time getting there from Surrey where I live?”
