“I was searching for something simple, I found not so simple, in that it is so much more then I expected. Yet, the basic defaults provide the ease I I require, insert inport link, direct output location. done! . I tried a couple of others, one wouldn't do you tube, and 2 others loaded my computer up with who knows what. I spent 2 hours cleaning up the mess provided by the others and screwing around. Not only does it download, but it converts your videos into 16 other formats. Then there is audio ... And it's super fast too. This needs to be listed as #1. Don't waste time on the others!
