“First & for most my dog who can be a fussy eater loves it , the advice I was given in what foods to feed based on him having a sensitive gut on occasions was perfect he does so well with the food . The packaging is so clean & as an advocate of being as green as possible it’s just fantastic . Well done Naturaw”

“I found out about Naturaw (especially their Forage range) via the website All About Dog Food, whilst researching food for my new Mini Schnauzer puppy. They were the highest rated food and as I have been a believer in feeding raw food to my dogs for several years now, I gave them a go. Delivery was spot on and the food came really well packaged. I also like the environmentally friendy packaging they use for their food as well. I have 2 small gripes. One is that there's no lid for the raw food boxes, so I need to transfer the food into a different box for storage (as a box lasts 2 days and I wouldn't want to leave the food uncovered for that long). The other is that there's a piece of paper attached to the bottom of the food and when peeling this off, some of the food sticks to it and is difficult to fully remove. Those minor grips aside, the food is incredible and my MS, Frankin absolutely loves it. I have fed the likes of Natural Instinct and Nutriment before, but (whilst they are good) this is a further step up in quality. The bowl is always emptied and it's great to know that he is getting the best quality food. I will definitely be sticking with Naturaw and if they can perhaps improve the packaging points raised, their offering would be absolutely perfect.”

“I was very sceptical about feeding my dachshund raw food but he loves it especially the chicken. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a fussy dog! Love the packaging it’s so easy to recycle and easy to pack them in the freezer. The food was delivered on time.”

“I can not fault Naturaw, my puppy loves their food & I love that it is complete so I don’t have to worry about her getting all her nutrients especially with the quality of the food. I’ve also asked for advice a couple of times & the service I have received has been excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!”

“Please omit the "paper" lining....it serves no purpose in my opinion...the tray is more than adequate to keep the "juices" in...and in any case, l transfer to a storage box once defrosted x”

Hi Karen Thanks for your message. The small sheet of paper under the product may look insignificant but it’s an essential part of the manufacturing process – in basic terms it allows us to portion the meat more accurately, as it stops the product sticking to the conveyor belt resulting in uneven pack sizes. Without it, every pack would have to be manually weighted by hand resulting in a cost increase. It's greaseproof, so does not absorb any moisture from the food. “Food is fantastic, dogs love it! Part of my decision to switch dogs from kibble to raw was getting away from ingredients I no longer wanted to give my dogs. At the time of switching I was surprised how many of the raw foods on the market included some of these ingredients. Naturaw is different, they don't add oils to their raw food but include natural ingredients which provide it e.g. mackerel. The quality is great, having also tried a cheaper local brand there really is no comparison.”
