“The case fit my handgun nicely and I was able to put a couple of magazines in the case as well. I had to figure out how to get the 21 clip in since the case was made for a 17 clip. There was plenty of room for other things and the pocket was pretty nice. I might suggest not putting the instructions in the 'locked' case though. It would have been nice to have that on the outside, although I was able to view a youtube video of how to unlock the case.”

“I gave it 4/5, but would give it a 4.9/5 if I could. One little tiny gripe is the combo locks. They’re a smidge clunky and could roll up and down a little smoother, but I’m knit picking. I love this case.”

“I just purchased a single gun Unicase, model # 16406LX. (This is my second Negrini case). My first was a 1677 LX two gun Unicase, which I purchased about 6 months ago. Fit and finish are superb, both on the exterior as well as the interior. The locks are rock solid. These cases are far superior than anything I could find anywhere. I have 5 Beretta cases, including one in canvas and one in leather. Neither can be compared to these Negrini Unicases. I actually bought these Unicases to accommodate both my Over and under Beretta guns, and my new Beretta A400 Semiautomatic Sporting Edition. My one and only semi-negative comment is that Negrini should have made the cases about 1/4 thicker. My Beretta Semi came with a oversized charging handle from the factory, however, both cases just barely accommodate the gun. My Negrini cases are now the only cases I use. Nick Corbi Peekskill NY”

“This an excellent shell case. Easily holds five boxes of shells. The materials and workmanship are top notch and I know this case will outlive me. I would have given it five stars were it not for the very high price. That said if, like me, you aren't that concerned about the price then you can't go wrong with this fine case from Negrini.”

Hi Nelson - We appreciate your support and feedback. Our cases are hand-finished of the best quality materials and craftsmanship. From the photo... there is proper spacing around the case. Keep in mind this is real leather and if it was too tight it would rub on the hinge side and cause more problems. Our cases are not meant to be airtight as the heavy case pictured on the left. You also received a heck of a steal with these limited-time cases. 30% OFF is unheard of from Negrini Case. We appreciate your business!

“Case is wonderfully made and compact. Only complaint is the connectors for the strap are very difficult to get on and off. There are small buttons that must be held in as one inserts or pulls out the connector. It is difficult to both be pushing in and pulling out at the same time.”

“Looks great and nice design It' always upset me that airlines charge for a gun as an additional bag even if it only weighed 10 pounds. Now I can take several boxes of ammo along with some basic stuff that reduces the weight of my normal duffle bag. I'm a little concerned that there are 4 weak looking hinges. I would have preferred one large more substantial hinge. We'll see how the case survives after several scheduled trips. That's the reason for only 4 stars so far!”

“The one thing that bothers me (slightly) is if the rod isn't perfectly centered when I insert and drive through to clean the barrel, small shavings of the wood from the rod come off into the hinge and chamber. Otherwise everything else about it is superb”

“This is a nice item for cleaning pistols. Just add patches,solvent and a bit of oil and your good to go.”
