“Ordered from them a load of sawn timber to build a carport for a customer's tractor. I like they way they don't take payment over the Internet and will call you, this is because I got a call just to confirm the order and make sure everything was correct. I had put 6x 200mm posts on the order but they didn't have these, they offered a smaller replacement but let me know theyre the last 6 post and we're a bit twisted which was great honesty as that the last thing I need, banana wood. I ended up going elsewhere for posts only due to needed them asap. Delivery was cheap compared to other timber companies and I was away when my order was delivered and it was stacked perfectly in a great place when I arrived back to the job. Checked out all the timber and its all great quality (especially for sawn) 98% of the wood was dead straight and clean, even the 2 x 1 buttons were as straight as I could've wished for (ive seen some crazy bent battons and 90% of them are never straight). Overall good first order and definitely likely to use again. Happy with the price too”
“Since I moved into my house, having ordered my first bunch of timber for my house project from Nelson Potter, I could not fault the quality of their wood. Prices are very reasonable. They offer promt delivery too, although their delivery charge of £20 consisering I live only a few miles from them is a bit high. But otherwise, I would recommend them.”
